I'd actually be devastated if Inspector Gadget was given the arse..

I'm not blind to his faults or SKDumb moments, but he is a pure finisher..

His defence is slowly improving too..

Plus it's obvious how much he loves the joint..& how much the rest of the squad loves him..

And he is just so funny..I'd keep him just for the lol's..

I think he is actually just starting to get his confidence up and learn his role in the team. His defence has improved considerably - it is really only his hands that are letting him down - and even that provides great comedy value.

Even if SKD went I wouldn't be rushing to sign anyone with the likes of Moga(esp), McDonald and Wells waiting for a chance.

Have you seen Wells and McDonald play? Wells needs a lot more bulk and McDonald despite his athleticism can make some horrible errors under no pressure at the back.

I had to laugh against the Sharks. RTS dodges, weaves and beats 3. SKiDs comes into dummy half to try and reapeat the dose, runs sideways then drops the ball when tackled. Given we were already flogging an understrength sharks team, I afforded myself a laugh. Even my 8y.o. son thought it was pretty funny (he also though is dance on the intros was worth a belly laugh..).

I honestly don't understand how these rumours keep coming up yet SKD has said a few times this year he's going no where..? I haven't read anything about any rumours or anything they just keep coming up.

Can we end the SKD departure threads until he actually says he's leaving?

Fortunately it was against the Sharks and we were well and truly up. I am just worried this may happen again except against the Storm or Bunnies and we are down by 4 with 5 mins to go and its a finals, or Grand Final, game.

Wont be too funny then and I see a lot of people wanting SKD out regardless of the comedy feature. This is an NRL club, he needs to play like a professional and not keep making stupid mistakes.

Im not into trolling and those on here who know me know I havent ever trolled before. I just heard this rumour and want to know if anybody has heard anything ?

This would only mean that we already have an outside back in mind (whether thats within, or from another club) to have as back up.

Coz Moga is still recovering he wont be at full tilt by Rd 1 next year, it will take him a while to get back into it 100%. I wonder if the SKD news is true, who we have in mind....

From 2 different people who dont know each other and support 2 completely different teams. Like I said in my post, I agree it is extremely likely its a rumour and only that. I just wanted to know if anyone on Chookpen had heard the same thing or not.

hahaha. Fair call. Which is why I was just confirming, because I had not even heard about it on the Pen so highly doubted it but when I heard it from a second source completely unrelated it got me thinking!

So what other place than the Pen to confirm the rumours ! :P
