We also don't have any better alternatives (unlike the situation with Minichiello, where most believe Sheck to be a better option).
If he was on $150K I would agree but he is one of our top paid players and he provides less value for money than anyone in the comp......except for Sandow.

For what he is on, we should have a quality international. He is not even quality Newtown.

Anthony Minichiello has not improved as a player the only difference is we are winning a d now there is a falsely changed perception of his performances.

right now, SKD is on $350K in a team that is 2nd in tries scored and he's only scored 4. He is rocks and diamonds in defence and we all know he has flippers for hands. I would rather the money be used on keeping our younger players here.
He's scored 6 actually that's equal 3rd at the club. He only really drops the ball at most once a game the only difference between his and normal knock on's are that his are in hilarious situations. His defence can be shit at times but we have to let teams score somehow it's unfair otherwise.

my bad, could only remember 4 off the top of my head.
as I said, he dropped it twice against the sharks, both times coming out of our own half.
and his defence is average. im afraid we will come up against quality opposition and his errors and poor defensive reads will lead to tries, and ultimately losses.

I agree with Danish to a certain extent.
The other thing is he has been on the wrong end of some injuries of various levels including busted ribs, these are just now right.

TR is no idiot, if he didn't see what SKD can bring to the team he would have been gone.
Also I could not give a flying eff about Moga being the next greatest thing. I hope he becomes a Roosters superstar but he hasn't proven a thing except how to eat KFC in the off season. People are critical of SKD's defense at times, well Moga's is twice as bad.

I agree KB, we know how good he can be in attack and his defence has certainly improved. Moga seems to be fast becoming the new Cherro..

I don't want him to leave either because he makes me look petite when he hugs me....

That's a little harsh isn't it? You could have said the same about Cordner after 2 knee ops. He seems to of come back OK, don't you think?
