Sonny-William Williams is at the moment after just 15 games coming back from 5 years away from the game in the top 4 in the game...the others being Smith, Inglis and Thurston. However for sheer presence and the ability to turn a bunch of also-rans into a premiership contender he is second to none and IMO shades Inglis...then add his marketability on top of that........SBW is easily worth $1 million per season.

How is our squad minus SBW a bunch of also rans exactly?

RTS, Jennings, Maloney, Pearce, Cordner, Maubs, FPN, JWH and friend would be walk up starters in nearly every NRL side. I don't think your paying our roster a lot of respect there Parkway

The undercurrent of the article certainly did smack of a News Limited agenda as it was defending the school yard antics of the Daily Telegraph that included less coverage in their newspaper of the Sydney Roosters v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs review the day after and refusing the print photographs of South Sydney Rabbitohs players without the names and logos of their sponsors. The article was concluded as a triumphant win for the media who are treated poorly by these two clubs according to the article Author, The Lurker.

Sorry Rooboy mate...I probably jumped the gun in my enthusiasm to say Sonny Bill Williams was worth more than $400K per season. You are right I didn't pay the rest of our squad the respect they deserve, however SBW is the icing on what is a very good and delicious cake.

I (am very dysfunctional)have multiple personalities under one alias unlike others who have multiple personalties under multiple aliases or sometimes the same personality under multiple aliases...though that topic is for another thread:P

My multiple personalities are usually more active in the evening and hence I tend to shoot off before I check what I say....and I thank you for pointing out the fact I didn't pay the rest of the roster (which is a very good one) the respect.

IMO after thinking about it as I have my sane personality with me ATM I think JWH is probably the most important player we have...might not be in the SBW class for skill and creating points but his heart, power and aggression is worth just as much...just my 2 bobs worth
