I think Robbo's advantage over Smith is management skills.

          Robbo's emphasis is defence.

That was never our strong suit with Smith.

But yeah, they're definitely of a similar school.

When it works it's a good brand of footy.

Unlike the Bellamy / MacGuire machine team game plan.

            This was from FPN's Q&A:

What about tonight’s clash against last year’s runners up? They’re starting to find some form now and we’re missing a few blokes through Origin and suspension.
The Doggies are going well at the moment and we’ve been below par in the last few games.

We’ll miss Jared, Jimmy, Juju and Jenko as well but we’re confident in those coming in and know that if we stick to our structures and the plans in place by Robbo and the coaches, then we’ll be able to get the job done.

How much of a different place is the Club now, since Robbo’s arrival?
I don’t mean any disrespect to any coaches I’ve had here in the past, but since the start of this year I’ve had a lot more clarity in terms of the role they want me to play. It’s just simple footy, in terms of the way they want me and the whole squad to attack and defend.

It seems a very happy squad, even after a few rough weeks, but you love this place don’t you?
I’ve been here since I was 18, I’m fully committed to this place. It means so much to me and changed my life in being given this opportunity.
I could’ve gone a lot of ways back in New Zealand, so I see this place as my blessing.

I bleed Red, White and Blue and that’ll be tattooed on me one day, I just need to find some free space somewhere on my body!
