Jennings is quick over 40 - 50mtrs. Over the long distance, I've seen Josh Morris run him down a couple years ago (and he isn't even the faster Morris), and I think there are other players in the NRL as fast or even faster than the Morris twins.
When Jennings scored the length of the field runaway try against Manly 3 weeks ago, Tupou caught up to him as he got down toward the Manly goal line.

Agree Meads the pick and for us I think you will find Toups is up there with the quickest over 100m in the game.

I think the thing that is being overlooked here or just plain not noticed From where I was sitting at the game was Johnson had already taken off in pursuit of Jennings in anticipation as Jennings was bending down to pick the ball up Johnson who we all know is exceptionally quick off the mark got the jump on Jennings there and then and was able to run him own

This was one of the little plays I noticed in the game the other night where I said elsewhere that to me it looked like they wanted it more than we did Johnson chased in anticipation of Jennings picking that ball up not in reaction to him picking it up For that he was rewarded by running Jennings down

A friend spotted Jennings before the game as he got out of his car with a stuff neck and he told him he woke up the way and couldn't turn the head. Physio got stuck into him wehn he got to the game. I reckon he struggled to look back as he was running

Maybe but I thought Keven Gordon was just as quick.....Mead said two years ago Gordon was a bit quicker than him.

But I think Koriebeate is the quickest easily (over 100m) he ran down Uate and Gaigai in that game early in the year so easily...followed by a group including the Fish, Mead, Gordon....then just behind those are players including Locke, Johnson, Jennings (who is quicker over 100m than you guys think), Robinson,etc...might start a thread in the Rugby League discussion about this
