    the expectation is not surprising.

    wont be a big win.

Warriors young guys are buying into Elliott.
Same as Ivan Cleary at Penrith.

    We have a rookie coach.
SBW was poor last week, as was Mitchell, origin weighs heavily also.

    Dont expect too much
    winning is good enough

Is SKD still your favourite player?

shut down the bros middle and attack fishii on the wing. he was soft when he played fullback while lock was out last year. soft i mean under the high ball. run toupo at him and the opening wiill be ther.
when they played the drongos the bros used an umberlla defence. very compressed..if we can run some second phase footy at them it will expose the compressed defencive line.

i think we need sel in a game like this. his dummy half foot work will give us our fast play the ball game(which has vanished since sam has been injured). thats been a very important factor in our wins and how the cheats beat us.

our tackling style of ball wrapping in a tackle must be on song so the bros dont go all basketball style on us , because that will fracture our defencive line structure.

Only thickhead Pearce can win this game...needs a kicking game gone right for a change

              Finch is.
Im getting feelings in my nether regions at the prospect of him turning out for the Storm soon.
He will be a weapon during the next 6 weeks.

I am very confident. Think we will put a score on them. Maloney, SBW to star

not expecting a big win at all. imo we havent reached some of the great heights we did earlier in the season and teams are slowly figuring out our attack

hopefully the boys have all woken up to the fact that we need to continue to pulverise teams like this. last week v parra was average as fk

                  us by 1-12

Tend to agree... we are ready to bust one out I think...surprised at the cautious pessimism on here about this game...

                          Cogburn's relentless positivity is tiring.

I'll be very surprised if we win this, and I'll be amazed if we win well.

And the Bulldogs next week is going to be even tougher.

At this stage of the season, other teams are beginning to come good, and we're plateauing.

                          That's how I see it.

We will even better at the back end of the season as one would think Pearce will have a better kicking game by then.

I think we've done pretty well the last few weeks considering our two best go forward men and a player in Hargreaves who was creating a lot of ground and attacking opportunities through second phase. Also when you think SBW has been poor for his standards in the past two games, we've still produced reasonable results. Robbo will make sure we don't repeat the Parra performance against the Warriors. Pearce will be fresh. SKD will have had a rocket put up him and will have worked hard on what he needs to do to improve his D on last week. Other than that right hand side our defence has still been extremely good. Marker and A defender speed needs to improve from last week as it kept shortening up our line which wa giving the wide men a bit too much room. The Warriors defence, even when they are on, is not extremely good. And when they are off it is average. They concede quick points back to back when their opponents get any momentum. If we play up the middle and then work wide to Jennings to target Hurrell we will get momentum at some point and they will concede. I have confidence in this team's ability to stem momentum with good defence. But we still have had problems with following the offensive gameplan. I expect our discipline to improve. And our long kicking is improving every week and we need that to continue against the bigger Warriors pack.
