I agree with what youre saying, we should be the bolter, but DarkEnd we have arrived earlier than expected.

And good get it over and done with early so we don't freeze under the spotlights come semis. Which can happen to sides especially those with a lot of youth like us.

It will be interesting to see how we handle games, if we lose Pearce, Maloney, Jennings and possibly Kennedy to Origin, and with Moa and JWH out as well, that would test the depth.

Souths, us, Manly and Melbourne are a cut above at the moment but if they make the finals Newcastle, the Bulldogs, Cronulla and the Raiders (which I expect will be the top 8) could all go on a run. Anything can happen.

Melbourne and Manly have 5 points out of a possible 10, they could well be 5/12 after this week (Manly play Canberra). They're hardly a cut above AT THE MOMENT and both teams look to be badly affected by Origin.

I think consolidating our position in the top four is the most important thing for the team.

If we do that we put ourselves in a goof position and have two bites of the cherry if we lose that first finals match.

NRL Finals is a completely new competition to regular season so whoever gets in the Top 8 is a chance.

Was that 2010 that the Dogs put 60 on us? I think it was the day after Pearce's 21st Bday, we then went on to the GF later in the year, as some of you may remember!! (It may have been 2009, in which case my point is moot!)

No it was 2010 I was at that match and I have never in my life seen a side so out on its feet after 10 minutes
