I watched the match last night and I thought Melbourne got going and got better as the match wore on We have a very tough game on our hands Saturday night

Missing our two starting front rowers may catch up with us this week I hope I am wrong but I dont have a good feeling about this one

Totally disagree with you there AW.
Melbourne were handed piggy back penalties throughout the game and were only in it at the end due to poor officiating.
I believe there confidence is shot at the moment and there attack looks pedestrian at best, they will struggle against our defence.
I credit Mick Potters game plan a few weeks back which nearly cost Melb the victory that night, and since then every team is playing a similar style against them which is stifiling there attack.
Im sure Robbo has worked them out!

I'll be there with my son, looking for Johnny in the members. Lol

Roosters have longer turn around than Storm. Didn't play 100 minutes last night against a bruising Manly. Looks favourable if we get a fair go from the Refs

Hey guys new to this forum but I'll definitely be there in the Chookpen and at the next few games. Bit unfortunate I have to leave for the Defence Force in a month but I'll be making the most of trying to make the Chookpen louder.

I'll be repping this Jennings banner I made, I hope its to the chookpen standards haha.

I hope I can get off work early to go.

Seriously guys, for anyone who doesn't have any commitments and is staying at home out of choice, gives yourselves an uppercut. If your not getting on board and going to games now when we are flying, then when will you start going to games and supporting our team ????

                    Time to represent !!!!!!!!!!!

I agree I thought Melb were starting to panic in attack going to their trick plays. They were very lucky to get a point

The Storm had enough possession to win 3 games. There attack was very average.

Why do we only have the ANZAC day game as our only sell out?
That would be because of the very special day that it is.
...and also because Dragons fans arrive in numbers.

If people believe we're the real deal, why don't they come out and watch us play?
                          1. If they're not season ticket holders they have to pay money. Most people are struggling to pay their electricity bills.
                          2. Not everyone has weekends off, many people have to work.
                          3. Most Roosters fans don't live in the Eastern Suburbs anymore?
                          4. Getting people/families out of their warm lounge rooms, where are located their big screen tvs, bar fridges etc...is no easy task.

We've had good crowds this year?

V Rabbits, V Dragons...big crowds, other matches the crowds seem to have been larger than the last couple of years?

Like any club we have a core number of supporters who attend every home game...and a core group who also attend away games as well.

The 'big' games attract larger numbers of our fans.
V Dogs, Rabbits, Dragons, Broncos, Storm, Manly.
Trouble is, out of town teams and Sydney based teams whose fans 'don't travel' reduce the crowd.

Can't agree with a lot of this mate.

                            1. Then time to become a member/season ticket holder. Even if it's one of those 6 game ones.
                            2. Can't imagine many people will be at work on Saturday @ 7:30pm
                            3. So what? Not many people live at Homebush, but Souths and the Dogs get a few people along to games.
                            4. That's what being a supporter is all about. Getting off the sofa and turning up to games, especially ones against the benchmark team.

Nah...but surely a good architect could design something to keep the seating areas dry without it costing squillions.

                              A drop down curtain perhaps.

Melbourne has a roof ...NRL games and tennis...wise.
                              Sydney has no roof...useless.
