By that stage he'll be earning $2.5m a year, including a new marquee player allowance that Todd Greenburg will approve. He will salute the crowd as he is chaired off the field in his last Grand Final, having won 7 consecutive premierships.
        That made me moist.

Mate these guys will mature just by having Sonny with them for 2 years. And that maturity and professionalism will stay with them.

As great as he is, when he goes there is still going to be Maloney, Jennings, Moa and a great young coach. This team has a lot more going for it than just SBW.
I don't really think there needs to be a plan except that we will have enough cash to buy the best player on the market. Whoever that may be.

he is one of those once in a generation players. Shame we've missed 5 years of him but if he leaves next year Glenn Stewart and Hoffman are off-contract though id prefer SBW to stay as he brings a new culture and is a vital cog in the team

I really do not want Glenn Stewart anywhere near our club.

I think keeping the coaching staff of Jason Taylor- Trent Robinson is a must and would hopefully reap rewards post SBW Era.

The possibility of our side replacing him with another top line Front Rower or even Second Rower under the current structures may ease the loss as that player(s) could bring something different that strengthens the team as a whole.

Sonny has been phonomenal but so has James Maloney, Michel Jennings and the rise of Boyd Cordner.

I think we need to have faith that if he does leave we still have the core players that will continue the team ethics that has been built over the pre-season.

I'm a firm believer we have great talent coming through with - S. Langi and Kane Evans as examples that could change the dynamic of this side even more for the better.

But also we need to have faith that this side will spend the money that remains wisely and that should see us compete and have a window that spans the next 4-5 years ala Manly.

Sheck, Maloney, Pearce and Boyd Cordner for mine is a great spine/base to build off and we should be able to compete and win a Grand Final in the next 2-4 years.

Let's enjoy the ride first. It's been a pleasure to witness.

If SBW leaves in two years players like RTS Tupou Cordner Tasi Evans Moga Napa Langi will be more then twice as good as they are now and we will be ready all over the park.

its easy, with the 550k he frees up we need to be sure to buy another GUN player, not an Anasta type player, it was anasta who screwed us for so long.

It's more to do with the coach than SBW imho

Langi he's got ball skills, footwork and an offload. Glenn Stewart just annoys me.

Not that I want Spewart here but how can you compare a kid who hasn't even played 1st grade with a seasoned rep player who is also a multiple GF winner???

                            The FlogPen .

                            You know it makes sense.

I'm not comparing, I'm just saying why spend all of our SBW money on Stewart if we have an extremely talented player like Langi who plays similar to SBW. Stewart is also a grub (penalties are our main problem), if he did come which would be in 2015 he would be nearing his end while Langi would still be young.

                                Hes a five-eighth/lock not a second rower

Stewart is one of the best forwards in the game
