Even with these bullshit decisions by the refs that we constantly cop, the boys yesterday unlike the past two years, were able to just put it behind them and get on with business. Some people on here need to give guys like Mini (wow how good was that try saver in the 71st minute!), MK (just needs to get those penalties out of his game), Maubs, Friend and SKD more credit. All of them are contributing. I have been a bit critical of SKD's defense, but his defense was spot on yesterday! As you mentioned TheLoneRooster the stats clearly support this and you just have to look no further back than last night with the video ref handing $ouff$ the win with two extremely favorable calls. Also if anyone managed to watch when the storm played the vermin a few weeks ago, the storm had to play above and beyond to win as again as per usual the vermin had loads of favorable calls go their way. Some points I would like to make in regards to the red and green pieces of shit;

* Third man in diving in to back of the legs of the man with the ball. This is how Ryan Hinchcliffe was injured a few weeks ago and I can't believe nothing was said about that!! This is a regular tactic used by the vermin and I see it happen every week by them, and not pulled up by the refs. Even with Hinchcliffe injured from it and out for a month or more as a result, the vermin did not even get penalized for it, let alone the culprit suspended for it. What a joke, there are rules for $ouff$ and rules for the rest.

* Why is it that just about every time a $ouff$ player simply loses the ball they get a penalty and so often when a $ouff$ player strips the ball it is adjudicated as a lost ball

* $ouff$ players constantly have a hand on the ball as the tackled player wants to play the ball, with asotasi the worst offender.

* When $ouff$ make a tackle the amount of surrender tackles they are given is ridiculous. I was under the impression that the surrender tackle call was done away with??

* The amount of time $ouff$ tacklers are aloud to lay all over the top of the tackled player is easily longer than any other side is granted.

* The use of elbows and forearms that $ouff$ players use on the tackled player while on the ground. sam burgess and chris maqueen are two of the worst offenders at it

* $ouff$ are now apparently allowed to have decoy runners take out defenders for tries like they did for sutton against manly, very interesting and full of shit!! On the other hand what a complete and utter load of bullshit it is with that manly no try because of asotasi milking a pathetic obstruction when he simply just stopped and made no attempt at all to get to the tackled player, when he had all the time in the world. With these two bullshit decisions the video ref won $ouff$ the game. Utter utter garbage!! Certainly not the first time the video ref has won $ouff$ games along with games from last year, and this will just continue on throughout the season.

ive only watched bits and pieces of souths games so far this year, and the fact of the matter is good teams will capitalise on the penalties they get, sure, some may be a bit contentious, but would you complain that they win the penalty count each week if they were thumped every game?
and no, I don't believe in a perfect world, corruption is all around us, especialy in sport. take FIFA for example. How Qatar can win a world cup over Australia is amazing. corruption at its finest. I do believe there is courruption, I just don't believe there is much in the NRL to the point where the team that will win the comp is decided before round 1. there just isn't enough money involved.

Kegs when it comes to $ouff$ I don't have rose-tinted glasses on, I know what I see when I watch their games and I trust what I hear from a mate of mine who is deeply involved in the NRL. You are correct mate, and I will not deny that $ouff$ are a pretty good team, but that is strongly aided by refereeing decisions, video ref decisions and them being the worst offender at cheating the salary cap. So I must say that I have a very low opinion of how their recent success has come about.

With your last comment, there certainly is enough money involved in the NRL, you just have to look at the recent TV rights deal. As you and everyone knows, the NRL is at war with the AFL and soccer etc, they need to do what is best for business and they will do what ever they can to win this war as you can bet your bottom dollar that the AFL will be.
