Mate I never mentioned having Reynolds replace Pearce for this years SOO all I said was that IMO it is only a matter of time before Reynolds gets the gig.

I have no disliking of Pearce, Im not saying get rid of Pearce or lets get Reynolds I was just giving who ever I replied to some information that they may have overlooked.

Alot of people rate internationals like who I mentioned as pretty good players & Pearce has played with that calibre of player at the Roosters since he has been there. The team fired in 2010 with Carney at the helm & most predicted they would win the comp in 2011 when Carney stalled Pearce did nothing, so realistically he has had 1 good season like the rest of them did on the back of Carney. He has been in losing teams for every series he's been in for SOO, he hasn't been able to take the side to the next level & he has been playing grade now for 7 years.

PearceOrf has never had the quality of player or coaching in his 1st grade carrer that Reynolds has had the benefit of.

I am in no way sticking up for him. Personally I'd be happier if he didn't play rep footy.

On Reynolds I don't believe he is near ready for Origin. He could ruin his confidence against that freakish side. It's happened to a lot of NSW 1/2s over the last 7 years.

Put PearceOrf in Souffs team last year I can see him performing as we'll as Reynolds did. And put Reynolds in our side the last 7 seasons I don't see any difference he could've made.

after each player has only played one season of football? where they had dominant packs? a luxury they most certainly will not have in SoO. they need to show that they can win a game by themselves before they are put into origin frame. josh Reynolds especially.

tolman isn't origin material, ashton sims is average and Tariq sims is a year or two away. mason is past it and Pritchard? I hope you don't mean frank Pritchard. uate was exposed horribly last year, and mick Gordon should be that winger. everything else I agree with.

I'm sure all the other 15 clubs in the NRL wish they had someone as good as Tony Williams.

So tell me who do you think gives their team better value for money out of the two halfbacks... Mitchell Pearce or Trent Hodkinson...
You guys reportedly paid close to $300k a year for him to rot in reserves. Pearce isnt the greatest half back but im happy with what he brings to our team

I think Sam Burgess should play for NSW.

He should be allowed to play for NSW in SOO & also still be allowed to represent England. He's been here for 3 years so he is eligible but he wont give up his home country Test jumper.
