I'm not trying to defend mini becuase he has been under-performing for years, but Not many fullbacks in the game would have taken that bomb cleanly.
I'm not actually bagging Mini for the drop ball - shit happens - but that drop led to us being without the ball for the first 13 minutes of the half. If it gets caught then I don't think they build the momentum that they did.

Either way, Canberra never left lost momentum from that point and that's what wins football games.

Yup - momentum is very hard to stop in the modern game. A 16 point lead at half time used to be an unlosable position. You would be crazy to try and sit back and defend this in todays game. A team can score 3 tries in the last 10 minutes. A confident team willing to attack at all costs is very hard to stop.

Anyone else remember the last big momentum swing like that? I think it was in the Warriors game...

Anyone remember Freddy's interview with Roosters TV before the game? He called it...

That's 6 in a row for them @ home, historically it's always been a hard place to travel.

I don't think it's as simple as 'we just didn't turn up', that's a weak excuse. The score line flattered us if anything, if they had held the ball better in the first half it would have been quite a convincing loss.
Agree. The ball security by them was terrible.
They gave us a 16 point start and with the handling errors managed to mow us down.

Its Wednesday I'm still not over it.

Certainly do - I responded in the Love Freddy Fittler thread.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
