Yes, I noticed that. Like Parkway mentioned, it was in 2008 and we beat St George 10-0 in a cracking thunderstorm, effectively keeping them out of the finals. Morris Iemma, a Saints fan, was also finished that day. I remember my regular bay 13 crowd didn't come along so I sat with Horriewaschamp and his family undercover. Funny how people only remember Freddy for being drunk in hallways..no-one cares to remember he coached us that year to the finals...

Won't ever forget his "bennett turned down carney. that's why he's won so many premierships. smith accepted carney. that's why he hasn't won a premiership"

guess that's why his Cronulla haven't won a premiership either!!

I bought the Sun Herald just before starting work at 10am and there was 2/3 page size article about the Rooster/Broncos game, with a great pic of Sonny Bill being tackled by 3 Bronco defenders, you must have got a very early edition.

All I can say is thank god for the broken leg, we'd have been soaked that night, howling winds.

Funny the people that you meet in that type of weather we had the company of Mark Hughes (Souffs talent scout) as well.

RWB, the boys have moved on to Basketball - playing representative level so we don't get down much any more but we'll have to do it again for old times sake.

Congrats on the champions you are raising. I'll bet they are young men now, not little boys anymore. Yes, please do come back down for our run to the finals...

Thanks but he's already organised something for my friend who is very sick. I'm not joking about this..I'm so impressed that he responded to my request for something for her so quickly. After all, I share a birthday with him and I'm a total foxy moron so he is now too... We can have a joint birthday party with no hats at the table allowed...We are posh up here in these parts...

We stayed at a mates house in randwick when we came up for the match, and as we were walking past the bus stop there was this massive sbw poster. Not sure if its the nrl or the chooks promoting this but it was very impressive.

Did anybody catch the dig at us on Sunday by Rothfield saying we falsified the crowd figure for Rd 1?
