They have a NSW cup and U20s side. Just give them cap allowances to add some of those players to their top squad and let them get hammered every week.

How many crims plead not guilty but are found guilty? My understanding is that Marion Jones and Armstrong never produced a positive swab and that meant jack sh!t in their defense.
Ultimately the individual is responsible to find out what they are putting in their system. I am sure all players know that. It's black and white.
Why did the players allegedly go to the private practice of a doctor to have these drugs administered rather than inhouse?
There are claims that ASADA have phone recordings and credit card receipts on these products. Wouldn't clubs be paying for any supplements the players take?
They must have clear cut evidence to convict these players of wrong doing especially if their own legal advice is to take the 6 months.
The NRL would not be mentioning "one of many possible contingency plans" if they didn't think it will be required.
All I said was IF, and I emphasize IF, drugs were administered by a club official/doc to the whole playing group, well IMO it's the clubs fault. They have employed a person in a position of responsibility to look after their players welfare. In a team game like ours the go is TEAM, you do what you are told and respect that your club has measures in place to ensure this sorta shit does not happen. Especially young players.
As I also said IF the players are going outside the club framework well that's another story and of course they individually deserve sanction.
Currently we don't know what the true story is. I've heard all the rumors but until it's official I won't make a judgement either way.
I did emphasize IF and IMO for a reason mate.
All I know is what players have to say on the matter, past and present. And to a man all have said they take a cup full of pills and protein shakes etc after most training sessions and games, have done so for years now. None seem to have questioned the game wide policy and none seem to have been suss that their clubs aren't in control and looking after their welfare. None seem to elaborate much on what they have taken, in fact they really don't seem to know what they're taking 100%.
I'm only repeating what I've seen and heard on the matter there mate.
I'm also fully aware humans will cheat. Happens in all walks of life, I know our code isn't immune.
Interesting times ahead I guess.

All clubs are safe, except Sharks, meaning the Manly and other players drugged up outside of their clubs knowledge.

As for sharing with the storm, they do indeed share a feeder club in the NSW cup however the players are split amongst the sides. Cronulla is supplying a dozen or so players to the squad, as are the storm (they can't select each other's players). They can pull from that squad while also throwing in some more players from their U20s to make up the difference.
The holes left in the NSW and U20s squads can be filled by park and school boy players respectively.

Will take 4-6 weeks and no one to be stood down before at least that process is done and someone is charged, if anyone is charged.
Shit realistically we will almost be in Origin before anything official is made on players, if anyone is charged.
I wonder if it's 25ish players from Scumnulla (at that time) and a handful of others from other clubs???
Rothwitts gonna pop a fuse.

I'm not saying I agree with any of what was written just repeating the article.
As others have mentioned for the NRL to actually go public with such a proposal must be an indicator they are worried themselves.

I hope so mate. I just looked at the draw we are playing them twice over the last couple of months of the season.
Could be better than two byes.

I think the NRL coming forward with such a plan is more just a good sign that we actually have proactive management in place compared with the reactive geese we had running the show a couple years ago.
Grant and Smith both seem to have their heads screwed on right and Smith especially seems to be going in to bat for the game against ASADA and the government on these investigations trying to limit any damage done while also ensuring the Sharks and NRL in general aren't made scapegoats while the AFL is let off the hook.
I honestly don't see them actually implementing the plan laid out, however it is good to know that they are prepared for the worst case scenario should it occur.
