I agree Pearce needs work still, particularly his dreadful short kicking game, but we need to give him a chance in this new system with better players.

At the end of the day tho, he showed great pace on that chase. Without it, then yes the kick woulda been from right in front.

When he grubbers for a repeat set, he needs to grubber for the tryline, not 5 yards into it. Then he will find the ball pulls up short of the deadball line most of the time.
After 6 years of getting chances don't you think it's time Pearce finally showed what all the hoo ha was all about, or maybe it's just that Pearce is crap and has always been crap and has nothing to offer?

I don't like a ref making a call when he is 25 metres behind the play. There is no way he was in any position to call on whether Jennings scored yet referred it to the video ref as no try which meant the video ref had to prove he scored. I could not see any way he touched the sideline before he grounded the ball as the defence kept his body in the air.

The refs are going by their guts and out of the matches i have watched, none hace been overturned i dont think.

I hated the BOTD system because it awarded rubbish tries with no cosideration for the defensive team.

I only saw the replay during the match, butfrom what i saw it would of been a guess to award the try, and if that try was awarded against us, i would of hated it.

It was a clear try You need your eyes checked I wouldnt say a word in displeasure had a try like this been awarded against us last night before this

I have no doubts though that somewhere down the track we will see this happen and yes I will now be pissed off about it after what happened last night

and thats why the bonus of this decision is that we still got away with the match.

Award what clearly was a try a try I think the decision should have been overturned You mark my words when this same instance happens and we are on the receiving end a try will be awarded

Wow, some fans are seriously one eyed.

Although I agree that we've copped it from refs for the last few years, I didn't think this wasn't the case during the Warriors game.

If anything I actually think that the Warriors got the raw end of the deal

We scored a try from a blatant forward pass plus they got called for a knock on when I thought it was clear that Jake Friend ripped it out. Pearce also deserved to penalised when he was wrestling with the marker.

for what do you think the try did not get awarded for, into touch or no evidence of the ball reaching the tryline? For mine i didnt see where the ball touched the line. What was the official call?

I believe it was Jennings supposedly being out of play. It could not possibly of been for him not reaching the tryline as then it would have meant Jennings plays the ball as it was definatly not the least tackle
