Unfortunately doesnt matter where you sit, the footy always attracts that idiot element. Fortunately my daughters been coming to the footy for many years & is old enough to takes these things in her stride, but thats hardly the point.
Not saying it's right it's just the way it is. You go to the footy there will always be the odd nut who swears, more so if you are sitting in the pen.

There is good and bad in every fan base. I sat with relatives last night who turned up unexpectedly. A Souths fan, a Canterbury fan and a St George fan. I didn't know they were coming and it was a lovely surprise to go and sit with them as they had a spare ticket in GA seating. We spent the whole night bickering and laughing. Life is what you make of it and people are responsible for the garbage which comes out of their own mouths, regardless of what team you follow. I've heard bad language in the carpark of the Sydney Opera House on my way to the symphony...

So you would sit in the corners away from all our idiot element. Its not like you can go to the other side and sit there as from reposrts on here and the old wall BAY 13 and Bay 14 has its own dregs of society over there too

This person needs to be weeded out because if this club wants to keep the members it has acquired in the off season They dont need incidents like this A guy behind me wont be bringing his young kids again because of this Yes whilst they count this year they wont be here next year So there is 3 members we have lost for next season after 1 match

i saw him acting up and thought some poor bastards have to sit near him? i was embarrassed he was wearing a roosters jersey! had to laugh when one stroppy souths fan ran in and pinched one of Mario's flags from the pen, although cops alerted one of the roosters girls went up the top and took it back! gutsy effort Young lady! i did get a laugh out of the dogs fans paying the roosters for the privilege of abusing sbw! makes me think that game might need a few more cops on site to keep the peace?

Exactly. The football should be somewhere you can go and enjoy with your family. I remember being taken to a roosters v broncos match when I was 10 (my first match). I would never take my child to a game if I knew it would be anything like it was last night.

I genuinely felt for my safety last night. I would have turned around and asked them to keep it down but I thought the reaction probably would have been getting my head punched in.

i saw 4 vermin fans escorted from the members for being drunk and for swearing next to a single dad and 3 young kids under 8.

Alcohol free doesn't necessarily mean idiot free..There are plenty of people who act like morons at the footy even when sober..

"C'mon ref, some of us have work tomorrow. Well maybe not the Souffs supporters, but the rest of us do!!!!"

Souths and Dogs are the games i don't attend, eventhough i have a season ticket. South supporters are bad losers and even worse winners and too many bad memories from Roosters v Dogs games, having my kids watch whilst their supporters were ripping out seats and tossing them around wasn't a fond memory.
