Filthy Souths Supporters

Last night I realised why we hate Souths so much.

I am someone who loves watching football, whether its the Roosters playing or another game I love to watch a good game. And although I love the Roosters I think its good to respect supporters from other teams at all times.

Last night I went to the game and my night was ruined by some filthy South supporters. I found their supporters continually abused every Rooster supporter in the stands. I was minding my own business enjoying the game and continued to have abuse thrown my way. I thought their fan base was nothing short of appalling last night. The way they acted (around me anyway) made me feel unsafe and I couldnt really enjoy the spectacle.

I had two bogan ladies next to me yelling at the ref the whole night. I had two yobbos behind me running around the stands yelling abuse to roosters supporters and looking for fights. And I had a 70 yr old granny yelling abuse (and spraying me with spit) the whole game. Ive never seen that many people getting thrown out of a footy match before. The cops were down in our bay most of the game sorting out trouble makers.

Seriously are there any supporters worse than the Rabbitohs?

I vote next home game against them we ban Rabbitohs supporters

When it comes to supporters We have our very own dregs of society The guy sitting behind me in BAY 34 was the perfect erxample As the game got out of reach Every 2nd word was F... or c... He was asked by more than one to tone the language down but took offence to this and got worse which I didnt think possible But he achieved this The saddest thing about it was he was with his wife and his son who looked no older than 7 on top of that there were other young children around who could hear his every word

Yeah, I saw those two drongos running up and down picking fights. It was sad because they mainly arked up to older fans.

They should of been evicted earlier than they did.

Apart from that, it was the usual drongos that you get at the footy.

Also, what is up with people standing up during general play?

I understand getting up when something exciting happens but to remain there for a period of time is just selfish.

Reynolds was down getting his paper cut strapped and had been down for about 48mins when someone yelled:
"C'mon ref, some of us have work tomorrow. Well maybe not the Souffs supporters, but the rest of us do!!!!"

That guy was a complete farkwit, i tried to tell him to calm down but to no avail. His wife actually called the cops on him he was that bad. 1st night as a chookpen member and being subject to this type of crap, from 1 of our own supporters. It doesnt really bother me that much, but with kids around, including my daughter it was a bit much, to say the least.

So yes unfortunately we do have our own idiot element amongst our supporters, even if a very very small minority.

Why shouldnt young kids be able to sit in the chookpen just because a few cant control themselves?

Unfortunately doesnt matter where you sit, the footy always attracts that idiot element. Fortunately my daughters been coming to the footy for many years & is old enough to takes these things in her stride, but thats hardly the point.
