So that means they're not entitled to their opinion?
Bagging the opposition is what it's all about. And in this particular instance it's a Souths player so it should be encouraged!
Maybe we could start a separate forum just for you Andrew, that is exclusively for x-footballers because only their opinions should count.

It's not what you said Andrew it's what you implied.
If I have misunderstood your comment than I apologise.
What was your point in saying that "half the clowns.....have never played the game themselves"?

I would have thought it was pretty obvious. It was an opinion on others opinions

No But I and many others tend to take those who have at least played the games opinions more seriously Also in my experience the people I know who have played tend not to bag 1st garde Rugby League players for their playing ability

The rest is complete gibber. Which I wont bother responding to

Perhaps you need to stick to the away from the game or off topic section You post some worthwhile things there

You must have got very wet outside today
My IQ is more than adequate thank you.

How do you know who's played and who hasn't? Do you have some form of list?

What if someone tells you they once played and really they didn't?

You need to get your hear out of your arse mate, you sound like a complete prat. Or at this point, am I supposed to say 'so you've played? Really? Wow, I'm impressed'.

              By all means, bag players.

But don't be bagging Souths too heavily.

Because fact of the matter is, right now they're better that us.

              Sad but true.

                  For sure.
This year is shaping up to be anything. It could be massively good or a pile of . Trials mean nothing for form in the real world.
We have a new coach, basically untried at NRL top level. He seems to be getting it all headed in the right direction & the harmony seems to be there...unlike the last 2 season starts.
I'd also prefer to ignore the form of our players for the previous 2 years because of the previous mentioned harmony......or lack thereof.

Before we start putting our players on pedestals, or to the sword, how about we give them 4-6 weeks of the proper season & then see how it is all looking, eh?

Sutton did play well last year.

He's got a real good halfback to play off.
The scary thing about Sutton is, he is in top four in Line breaks, Try assists and offloads. He can't be that bad lol, I bet Trent has a different view of Sutton and has him down as a danger man.

When he's on his game he's exceptionally good. Unfortunately for him that usually only a handful a season.

Here's hoping Round 1 is one of his quite games.

Sutton strong ball runner on the left and that's it.

I don't rate Souffs that highly they have a few very good players but I think our side is better.

The Rabbitohs head into the season as serious premiership contenders, not just living the fairytale they have engaged in for too many Februarys over the past 20 years.

In the Charity Shield they toyed with the Dragons.

They dominated through their big pack, while John Sutton showed great decisiveness and skill in everything he did.

He looks to be headed for another great year.

And what can I say about Greg Inglis - have we seen a better athlete play the game? Probably not.

I can't wait for he and Sonny to get reacquainted on Thursday night.

This season opener is going to be played right through the middle of the park, with both sets of forwards playing chicken on the advantage line all night. And like most of these games are, it will be decided by a moment of magic or madness.

Regardless of the result, both sides are headed for a place in the top four.
