  • Chooks implicated in drug scandal?

Hey guys, read this post from quite a while ago

IT WILL be interesting to see if incoming Roosters coach Trent Robinson appoints his brother, Dean Robinson, to the coaching staff. Dean has a colourful history. Nicknamed ''The Weapon'', he lived in the US where he was a rodeo clown and bullfighter, reportedly making it as far as the World Steer Wrestling Association titles in Oklahoma. He has previously spent time at Bondi Junction and Manly in NRL positions, before moving to the AFL. Currently at Essendon, Dean has been under the pump after the Bombers suffered a string of soft-tissue injuries. Brian Smith's assistants, son Rohan Smith and Matthew Elliott, have followed the head coach out of Bondi Junction. The Roosters have tried to entice Parramatta's strength and conditioning coach Ciriaco Mescia back to the club but he may stay put, opening up a potential spot for Dean.

Manly and Essendon obviously have been at the forefront of the drugs scandal, could this connection bring us in to it?

If any of the chook players are involved then our club should get their money back, based on the way we have played for the last 2 years.
    Comment of the year:

You could say the same about Essendon ...

Mate that is a stupid post and is not far away from being libelous. We may be implicated but to suggest that because a family member of our new coach who was/is employed by an organisation that could be in trouble means the Roosters are implicated is drawing a very long bow.

We may well be implicated but it is going to take a lot more than that.

It's an interesting one. Dean Robinson has been suspended by Essendon and he was also the strength and conditioning coach at Geelong (2007-2010) where the Cats won two flags.

Geelong recruited him from Manly and a lot of the players at Geelong were already seasoned campaigners; they could cope with the workload, at Essendon he was basically dealing with a bunch of kids.

In my opinion I don't think Dean Robinson is guilty of anything - I hope I'm right.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

I think is the key sentence.

You think my post is not far away from being libelous? I've only read up about our head coaches brother who has spent time at the club and simply asked a question. I haven't accused anyone of anything.

Ok, no worries. Again, I'm not trying to make any accusations, I'm trying to understand it all a bit better.

Yeah mate I should have read it more closely. Definitely my bad and I apologise.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out though. Lets hope it doesn't interrupt the 2013 season which looks like being a good one for us.

How excitement, I get to watch the video.

Seriously though mate, I hope you haven't been on the performance enhancers yourself, cos you could do yourself an injury while uppercutting yourself. You wouldn't know your own strength.

As i always say, Safety first.
