    I'll second that.

Tim Witherspoon put paid to a very promising career in similar circumstances, effectively ending Frank Brunos career. One punch is all it took.

SBW should beat him. Bide his time & be patient.
Getting greedy & wanting an early end to the fight would be dangerous. Botha has size & timing. A lethal combo.

Plus, he'll know how to keep his chin out of the way.

If Sonny Jim gets beat, that particular cloud might have a silver lining for us. He might decide that enough's enough.

Being too bulky up top and playing RL is a big risk Fletch I agree, it has lead to a lot of Pec Tears lately and they are usually season ending. And Pec tears have only become more common place lately due to players bulking up. Hopefully Robbo can de-bulk him a bit before the season hots up.

              Chook.

Very interesting interview with SBW here....nervous and honest about boxing and footy. Not sure if I got the link thing right...

Speaks very well these days and looks awesome, make a very valid point about edan park in regards to the game being a buisness. Looking forward to watching the fight too.

I chuckled out loud at his comment about Eden Park and 'business'.

It's acceptable for anyone to make maximum $$ out of SBW, with the exception of SBW himself.

Obviously but the point is about the sort of fitness. Being fit is one thing and being match fit is another. With your theory, how would a distance runner, an Olympic hockey player or a Tour de France cyclist go then?

Filthy - your hypotheticals are weak.

SBW is a League and Union player who has trained for a heavyweight boxing bout (while still playing Union). All sports have endurance, contact and power components, so he'll be in great (appropriate) shape.

I think he's going to get a shock when Botha puts one on his Huckleberry Finn......
Appearance wise Botha looked the same for some time now Personally I do not think Botha will have the speed to put one on SBW

Cockadoodledoo has expressed some valid concerns though about SBW possibly hurting himself whislt he beats up on a fat slow and aging Botha
