Why is Mason always the scape goat?Fitler was agreat player but a farking coach he aint.Mason had a go tonite,so did Perrett ,Pearce,Fitzy & Aubo.Mini is being embarrased by Fitler,Im convinced he wants to get the spoon...........When he's finished couldn't care less if he comes back to the club in any capacity......he is an ungratefull bastard,Nick Politis has been forced into this & too think he was gonna bail him out before Townsville.......put the chicken suit on you gig!Thats the only job you deserve now.You have tarnished our memories, maybe in time we will leran to forgive you.
Spot on Ghost. I am so pissed off with Shittler at the moment, I can't find a good thing to say about him. Playing came so naturally for him he thought it would be the same coaching. How wrong he was and we have the spoon to prove it. I don't farking care what he says about this year, or any excuse he can come up with, he had the cattle to win more than the spoon this year, he failed.
Dogs fans cheer Willie Mason after Monday night win over Roosters
By Christian Nicolussi

In a post-match scene not imaginable just 18 months ago, Bulldogs fans gave Willie Mason a standing ovation on Monday night.
The giant forward, who famously walked out on the Bulldogs for the Roosters at the end of 2007, had become public enemy No.1 around Belmore and was jeered every time he got his hands on the ball.
But the Bulldog army applauded Mason as he marched from ANZ Stadium after the Roosters were beaten 28-4. Stunned, Mason smiled and reciprocated.
The NRL's ugliest and most bitter split finally seems over.
And to prove there are no hard feelings, Mason declared he would cheer for the Bulldogs during the finals series.
"Of course I'll be cheering for them, I'll always have a soft spot for the Dogs," Mason said, as he emerged from the Bulldogs dressingrooms and posed for photos with fans of both clubs.
"They know I'm not a bad person. They respect my mum and family so they won't give me much grief. I suppose time heals all wounds. I don't think they would have cheered me off had we won.
"I've never come out and disrespected the Bulldogs fans. I didn't leave on the proper terms, but look at them now.
"They're second, we're not going so good, and I suppose if there weren't a few moves by some of the players (a couple of years ago), they may not be in the position they are now."
Mason has been linked with a move to Japanese rugby next season, but was quick to play down suggestions the warm reception after the game had anything to do with fans seeing the last of him.
He started on the bench but made an instant impact, racking up more than 90 metres off five runs. He drew the loudest noise when he turned fullback Luke Patten inside out, only to throw a wayward pass over his head into no-man's land.
Nate Myles, another former Bulldogs player who was wooed to Bondi Junction, was returning from a six-week stint on the sidelines after a drunken night out at a Terrigal hotel.
Myles seemed the logical target of Bulldogs fans' jokes, but it was Mason who stirred the most emotion.
Myles was much quieter on the field and is sure to strip fitter this week against the Storm, as the Roosters are desperate to dodge the wooden spoon.
Mason won't be desperate to dodge the Dogs fans anymore
mason you idiot stop worrying about socialising and taking fukn photos and get your ass back to training. What swine of a coach would let there players go an socialise with the other team when they have been flogged, and are favourites for the wooden spoon?????
Just got in from the game, I'm not much happier with our lot than you are with yours. Too many mistakes with the ball, dare I say it, played without respect.
Strange night, sitting on my perch behind the opposition bench it was a veritable re-unionathon (to quote the illiterate Fatty V). Firstly Koups came down and was given the Bronx cheer but was roundly greeted with smiles and jibes. Then Ogre came down, then Danny Williams came down and half the Roosters group went over and jumped him, heaps of smiles, hugs and kisses.
Tom Symonds and ... I forget now sat down in front of us with Nick P watching fairly resolutely and some other familiar looking dude who I couldn't place.
Martin Kennedy from your NYC side sat behind us with a couple of mates in Bulldogs gear ... he thought the obstruction was an obstruction too ... as he would ... Seems like a nice kid, a few people chatted to him and seemed friendly enough.
Then heaps of of those strange hugs they do with Tony Ayoub, Harry Harris (aka Scary Looking Guy) and at the end Willie came over to the Dogs' crowd but he still got booed. I think he was being sarcastic ...
Highlight of the night was Kimmorley remonstrating with Moore up in the box for replacing him ... too much frivolity for my liking.
Yeah ... we were bored ... it was a crap game and I thought this might be more fun writing up than you were shit and we weren't as shit.
Back to the Kennel to see who we are sacking this week, probably Daniel Holdsworth ... again.
I would love to have seen Uncle Nick's reactions during the game. He was too close to Freddie and it was a huge gamble to put him as head coach with no experience. Sort of like putting your son in charge of a company after being the best mail boy and then having to make the hard decision before the administrators walk in.

Could you be anymore pedantic? We should sack him now for having a chat with his former teammates.

You are the epitome of pedantic. He went to say hello to some old mates (as you do after a game), the media have pounced on this tiny, insignificant fact and have reeled you in, hook, line and sinker.

He was having a bit of a chuckle at the barbs directed at Mason.
Actually, a couple of the boys were trying to convince Nick that Daniel Holdsworth is the next big thing. Even offering to pass the hat around to raise the money if need be.
He seemed to have a good time, but at times he did look a bit grim.
