For the time Mason spent out there he was definately one of the best of a bad bunch......

Just got in from the game, I'm not much happier with our lot than you are with yours. Too many mistakes with the ball, dare I say it, played without respect.

Strange night, sitting on my perch behind the opposition bench it was a veritable re-unionathon (to quote the illiterate Fatty V). Firstly Koups came down and was given the Bronx cheer but was roundly greeted with smiles and jibes. Then Ogre came down, then Danny Williams came down and half the Roosters group went over and jumped him, heaps of smiles, hugs and kisses.

Tom Symonds and ... I forget now sat down in front of us with Nick P watching fairly resolutely and some other familiar looking dude who I couldn't place.

Martin Kennedy from your NYC side sat behind us with a couple of mates in Bulldogs gear ... he thought the obstruction was an obstruction too ... as he would ... Seems like a nice kid, a few people chatted to him and seemed friendly enough.

Then heaps of of those strange hugs they do with Tony Ayoub, Harry Harris (aka Scary Looking Guy) and at the end Willie came over to the Dogs' crowd but he still got booed. I think he was being sarcastic ...

Highlight of the night was Kimmorley remonstrating with Moore up in the box for replacing him ... too much frivolity for my liking.

Yeah ... we were bored ... it was a crap game and I thought this might be more fun writing up than you were shit and we weren't as shit.

Mini is finished. Due to his back injury he has had to trim down alot and now he isn't effective. Ben Jones I have no idea where he can fit into a 1st grade side besides a utility off the bench. Perrett is probably stupidest player we have. Yeh he runs around and breaks the occasional tackle which may look good. It really only looks good because he is probably only slightly better than the other rubbish. I remember his debut in 04 against Newcastle he really hasn't improved since. Shit support play, shit positional play in defence, offers nothing in the opposition 20, can't pass or tackle. He is 24-25 probably played 100 games and some of the decisions he makes are embarrassing.

Fans wonder why we have been crap for 5 years. Players like Perrett, Skd, Sa, Soliola, Paea and Fpn to name a few are just simply no good. Before we can go forward we have to get rid of all of the rubbish.

I agree, however Pearce!!! He was amazing tonight I thought... had a real never give up attitude. Many of the things he tried didn't quite work, but even in the dying minutes he seemed to have his chin up. We've got 4 or 5 guys who seem to put in all the effort, and we'd win every week if everybody showed 1/2 as much effort as them.

I am not a coach and don't aspire to becoming one but this is a team sprot and we ain't playing as a team. Each and every week we call for this or that guy to be sacked. We showed against the Knights that we can play as a team and that is what has been lacking all season.

It is not individuals that are failing, it is the whole team. They are lost. Our defence did not move up in a line. We make a half break and no one is there to support it. 3 blokes in a tackle yet they got the ball away. All team efforts sadly lacking.

Our season is over, has been for ages. The only thing we have to look forward to is 2010 under Smith. A new coach, a new approach, a new attitude. I for one am looking forward to it.

My only hope for this year is one more win. Maybe against the Cowboys but I don't hold out much hope.
