sounds like benny has aquired bj at the knights? i wish him well but not against the roosters? benny knows from his time at the merge how damaging bj can be, maybe benny will get better out of him? i hope he actually gets paid at the knights the way tinklers going?
perhaps the should make sure his new digs are nowhere near a kfc , that seems to be his downfall? i can relate to that!
otherwise hed end up looking like tinkler?

As a paid member I feel I have to right to know why we dropped an Origin hopeful against his will without signing a clear replacement.

Now this ban is in place we are left wondering why a player who has been sacked is in trouble by the NRL. I've never seen such a ban before!!! On what grounds is it based?!? Why can't fans be told?!?
He was shit, that's why. One above average game per year just doesn't cut it.

I dont care if its one year at a time but focus on 1 thing only at a time. You will never get the best out of someone who is good at many things but you will get the best out of someone who is the best at one thing.
I hear you Ralphy but take Alyse Perry, Australian women's cricket star and also a member of the Australian soccer team. Two different sports that she is pretty good at that do collide scheduling wise. I think it is going to become more common Ralphy, athletes who can excel at different sports and while there young make the most of every opportunity they can whether it be a League player boxing in the offseason or a cricketer being a pretty accomplished golfer who can go to Asia in the offseason make some coin and then come back for a domestic summer in Australia. I don't have a problem with players going out in the offseason and do other sports I'd there that good at it to supplement there restricted income in the nrl

I know where your coming from Roo and I understand that people want to challenge themselves by trying different things but what I am saying is that if you want to be the best at something, then you need to concentrate on that one thing only. Again, you can be good at many things but you will be the best at none. We dont need good part timers. We need great, focussed footy players.

Can someone move this thread away from the 'Sydney Roosters' forum section.
              BJ is history.
And for anyone who thinks he got booted because of a bad attitude or bad diet, you have no idea.
And the texting of photos of nude chicks is petty crime compared to what the guy actually got booted for.

Has it got something to do with a 'BJ'?

                    Yeah... I went there. Sorry.

Why is his nickname BJ? It always seemed a little obscene but I assume he has a longer traditional name that is abbreviated to BJ.

That or he gets it because he has fat cheeks that make it look like his mouth is constantly full.

Also, how can someone who is off with their hand in other sports be 100% committed to us? He wants to box and also go back to yawn ion. That's not commitment to me.

Ralphy, this non committed player was getting to training before the rest of the guys and laying the cones out ffs, even prior to his contract being approved, he helped the coach run the drills and ran water out to the players, taliking to the younger guys and answering any questions they have thrown at him.

The info i am getting says he has been a credit to himself and the club.

Big Joe is easier to abbreviate then Joseph Ikenasio Poiva Leilua Kelemete. He's a Knight now, who cares what he did/does.

Playing water boy doesnt equal commitment. Getting there before the rest proves that the rest of the team needed a kick up the bum. Again, does not prove commitment. Anyhow, being committed to training and committed to the Roosters are two TOTALLY different things. There is no doubt he is an awesome specimen of a human being and that takes a lot of commitment to get yourself there and to stay in that sort of shape but thats a commitment to himself, not the Roosters.

Im sure you have good info and I hope that its all true!
