Even Ricky had to eat $h1t when it came to Diamond. Mullins spent most of 2002 parachuted and a red carpet ride into FB. Luke spent the same time in reggies. The rest is history, Ricky get's his maiden (and only) title, we get our 12th, and if it wasn't for Diamond nobody would have got anything.

Ricky had a chance at 2 more, but he(we) came up short.

Prime? Phillips recognised that Mini was the future and retired in his prime - The reality now is that Mini is now way past his.

Like Nick says - losing is bad for business, there's only so may times Mini can roll the dice and try and pull something out of his ar$e. Albeit these days its usually "At the expense of Roosters losses"- cheers Coggie.

    Over to you Trent.

I guess if you call five rounds most of the season that's true. By Round 6 Phillips was fullback and stayed there for the rest of the season barring injury.

I think Diamond's retirement was more due to a chronically bad shoulder moreso than making way for Minichiello.

Can't let the truth get in the way of a good rant now can we!

            No he won't.

I'm looking forward to another season of Mini fumbling and bumbling away in our in-goal attempting to pick up grubbers.
