I think fullback would be he's preferred position but also think other then 5/8 he could fit into the centres pretty well too defending outside SBW and Pearce he should be alright and I'm sure watever side he'd play down the winger would be scoring tries all season long...

So going on the scenario that he also wants to balance Japanese Rugby, Boxing & playing for the Roosters, I think 1 guy doing that at the club is enough.

For now ralphy SBW & possibly Cooper are the minority in regards to 1 year contracts playing League & Japanese Union plus Boxing on the side. Unless the ARLC some how ban it the scenario quite easily could be in 10 years time that alot of guys have 1 year contracts & play League & Japanese Rugby. Guys like Sterlo & Kenny played the off season in England before the English comp run parallel with the NRL comp. Thats not dissimiliar.
Surely what is good for one is good for another tho Mickey?

He can't ****ing tackle in a code where the attack is 5cm away from the defence. How the **** is he going to tackle in league where everyone runs full steam at you.

There's plenty of halves who can't defend for shit, Thurston's one of the worst defenders in the comp yet he's the best half in the game today. Hayne's defence is woeful yet he's one of the best fullbacks in the game...

I'm not sure why everyone is so concerned about his defence when no one here seems to hold the current NRL halves to the same standard.

Some people are going to be in for a rude shock when Maloney arrives.

How many league halves do you see trying to avoid making a tackle? I can think of 1 and that is Prince. Cooper is the same. In games I have watched when he defends up in the line, when the ball carrier runs at him he tends to back away like he is scared of the collision.
At least halves in league attempt to tackle

                  Confirmed by an influential source.
                  I don't think Cogburn counts.

Seriously RC, you haven't seen Maloney or Pearce or any structures from the new coach, yet you are already claiming we have zero creativity?

Is deathriding your only mode of transportation?

                  Chook.

                    Funny that.

He constantly bangs on about how we are a club of losers and no creativity.

He is the most uncreative loser on here.

I was correct about Soliola and Pearce and I always said we'd be crap at the beginning of 2012. We'll be better in 2013 but mainly because of SBW.

I must have missed it, but what's your position on Mitchell Pearce?
