I agree with what you are saying. Without the addition of SBW to the team I would be having similar expectations to what we saw this year. But with SBW I just think that he will bring enthusiasm and attitude to the other players. Also, they will be playing for a coach they like. Personally I don't rate maloney too highly. He had 3 or 4 very good games in 2011 but appart from this there's not much to him in my opinion. Plus he tackles like a bitch!

Your points are valid mate, $BW should spread enthusiasm and attitude, new coaches usually have a honeymoon period and Baloneys a journeyman who has played a good season in a very good side that was well coached.

We live in hope. Nothing we have is proven. That could be good as there is some real potential in the club and they dont really know their limitations as yet, its all in front of them if they believe. It could be bad if early on we don't get some confidence among the squad and then get injuries to the more experienced players and the coaches aren't experienced enough to help dig them out of a hole.

Souffs fans will expect more and so they should, they have made some really smart decisions the past few seasons. What would be funny is if they fail despite the good planning and recruitment. I will lead the @Souffs chorus no doubt.

I really hope we go well. I don't expect too much more than improvement on the last two seasons.

I ask what would fans think if we stay competitive throughout the year but in the last few rounds start to really conk out??? Like what the Tigpies, Wankos and Tardpooles did this season??? Would everyone call it a successful season???
