  • How many fans are too scared to criticize Nick Politis?

Quite frankly his administration style is nothing short of appalling.

His tribal style is running the club means that when he is good he great, alas for the fans when he is bad he is awful.

Unfortunately, for the good of the club I see many influential fans that view any criticism of Nick as sac religious.
    I see this as unfortunate.

    So where do you sit?
Have you got the stones to be realistic in regard to his decisions?

    Or.......

Are you one of the educated, reluctant, passive supporters who consider Nick is beyond constructive criticism?
    barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

The only people who can 'have the stones' to comment directly to your post are those imbedded in the club. The other 99% of people aka punters (me included) wouldn't know a teaspoon full of what goes on behind closed doors.

Would we be better off without his decades of input Trew?

As for the bolded bit... I don't get it. Saying something for good of club. Then it being 'sac religious'.

When anyone can come up with a shit load of theyre own $ to pump into the club then they'd could challenge uncle Nick, people forget he doesnt get a return on his financial input into the club.

Why do we need to constantly HAVE criticize anyone about anything? What goes on behind closed doors has nothing to do with me or anyone else and is not for me to control or worry about. Some of us have too much class to whinge and moan constantly and some obviously have too much time on their hands to think up such things.

You and TOK should come up with some banners and walk to Easts Leagues Club. You might even get beetroot face to walk with you.

I can just picture them closing down Spring Street and Weidler doing a live cross.

Rothfield has been trying for years to bring Uncle Nick down. Then Nick sticks it up his arrse every time we make a grand final. He must still be walking with a limp from the last time Nick ripped him a new one. Some are either ignorant or stupid to realise how difficult it is to win a grand final let alone make one. We have made more than any other team since 2000 and there are some still not happy. If Souths lost the GF this year they would be tugging themselves for the next 40 years. The Dragons supporters will live off 2010 for the rest of their lives. Rothfield is still drunk at the gummies making the 8. We have had a couple of bad years and Nick comes in to fix it with changes most are happy with and you get the repetitive drivel from the same two gooses. Tell me what you aren't happy with with the 2013 line up from players, coaching and the front office? Mini is the last piece of the puzzle and that is likely to happen before the end of 2013.

Do you really think there is enough support to get rid of Nick to stop him from smirking at these stupid rants?

It will happen when he is ready. Get over it trew/TOK/Rothfield.

Trew is correct in that he's made some truly horrible decisions, SBW may yet be another. His passion has been his greatest flaw. He's too close to everything. It's no coincidence that our decline accelerated soon after Nick stepped down from the ARL board and could soley concentrate on running the Roosters. No one can argue that Nick hasn't earned the right to make bad decisions no doubt. But he's protected from true criticism by his closed shop board and football club. I've labelled us a fiefdom on many occasions as that's how it feels sometimes.

That said, I like the new management structure as it takes Nick out of the equation, he might have final say but only as a member of the board, he's not involved apart from that. He's hired smart guys, if he lets them run the show we might become something again.

I feel another poll is in order.

And I vote for Shawn Kenny-Doufus again.

No one would know what Nick contributes but I would bet John's testicles on it that it would be NO where near as much as what people think.

For some reason the know all's on here seem to think that he pours 10 of millions of his own money into the club every year. I think he would be lucky to put in 100k a year of his own money. The very rich rarely spend there own money.

He employs me when I am in Aus but that doesnt stop me speaking my mind. If I have got something to say, good or bad, I say it. By not saying something that needs to be said, you are lying to yourself and not helping anyone. It all comes down to when and how things are said tho.
