As far as I know, I have produced no scions.

My misanthropy has probably inspired some people.

      2. If Mitch is such a brilliant halfback then why in the last five years, the only time we did any good, was when he had the supposed drunk, degenerate criminal Todd Carney next to him?

Maloney will make him look good and we'll all be deluded again into thinking he's the next Andrew Johns.
I like to think of it as what happens when Anasta isn't next to him, it's hard for anyone to shine with Braith as your 6.

Fittler had finch, we went to two more Grand Finals. Finch is worse as a half than Anasta as a 5/8th.

We have had a poor forward pack since 2005 except for season 2008 and season 2010 when young Pearce performed very well. I believe our forwards made the least metres of any team in the competition and combined with the worst discipline for penalties and handling errors what much more can you expect of a half back?

Rugby League is a forward dominant game with the 10 interchange rule. During the unlimited interchange era we ruled the roost with a forward pack very few teams could match. Canterbury-Bankstown have the best forward pack in the competition but they have a halves pairing that a lot of fans believe to be inferior.
Our forward metres were limited mostly because of Smith's preoccuption with having the backs run from dummy half 3-4 times every set combined with Anasta'a preoccuption of using skinny blind sides. The matches in which we used a power forward game (the game against the Warriors in OZ and the games against Tigers) our forwards made as many metres as any pack in the comp. Hopefully the coaching focus & Anasta departure will change this.

I also noticed when Perrett went to the Bulldogs that he didn't run out of dummy half any where as much as he used to when he was with us so you can only conclude what he was doing with us was under instructions from the coach.

You can guarantee that what he did at the Bulldogs was under instruction from the coach.

I would like to see stats on how many times our back 5 made more collective metres than the 7/8 forwards we carried into a game. The tactic was as plain to see as the beetroot on Rothfields face. And the TACTIC SUCKED BALL HAIR! And the forwards were lazy because of that tactic. I think they were unfit (comparatively speaking) because of that tactic.
