I'm going to listen to it while walking about naked, just to vicariously piss off Debbie Spillane.

She complained years ago while a roving reporter that Manly players were walking around their dressing room after a game without towels.

Well lets start with the fact you are a clueless halfwit.
Regardless of whether Pearce behaves on or off field or how the Roosters have done, its actually quite obvious he has the ability.
There are moments when he stepped out of the Smith gloom and actually did something.
It needs to happen more, but its there.

Yeah - Pearce is a good player. The constant criticism of him is unfounded, I mean he's played in a shite team with fcuk-all structure for many seasons (disregarding 2010) and has been our best every year.

I am not Pearce's greatest fan by any stretch but he had no hope of leading us to any sort of glory with the cap thief alongside him and a game plan without any structure. Next year we will be able to get a better guage of where he is at and I think he will surprise many.

That's the way I am looking at it, as well.
I hope he proves the wait worthwhile.

And I am glad that you used the words "cap thief" instead of ######.

                        It's a decent program.

Daniel Mortimer also gets an early mention. Overall positive vibes about the Roosters chances if they can click...

Another point is that the Catalan Dragons weren't knocked out when they lost to Wigan (like many including myself had assumed.) They play Leeds next week and who knows...

Smith made a robot out of Pearce

From the interviews I believe Robinson will help Pearce finally reach his instinctive potential.

love hearing Robinson talking about how the players need to work harder, even seemed to have a small dig at the training regime last season, hopefully they get flogged this offseason and get fit.

Trent does speak well, he certainly comes across as a smart bloke. I can see a real opportunity for us next year. If someone said to you this time in 2009 after just coming off getting the spoon, that in 2010 we will make the grandfinal, you would call them a deluded fool and tell them to wake up to themself. This year was not as bad as 2009 and just like in 2010, we have a superstar on the way in SBW and Maloney will be very good for us as well! And just like in 2010 we have a new coach, so we have the possibility of just like then to enjoy a honeymoon period.

I can see an opportunity opening up for us with the broncos making way for us to make the 8. I can see the dogs and storm fighting it out for the minor premiership next year and finishing the top two sides again, but after that anything can happen. Manly just ended up making the top 4 this year and will not be as strong next year with T-Rex, Kite, Lussick, Oldfield and Whare all leaving. $ouff$ being $ouff$ can certainly miss the top 4 next year and are capable of even missing the 8, though imo they will make the 8 again as I rate their coach. Matt Bowen is a key player for the cowgirls and against manly on the weekend he showed real signs of wear and tear. 31 next year, I can't see a great year coming up for him which will have a real impact on the cowgirls, plus they are losing their two hookers from this year in Payne and Segeyaro, so that has to hurt them.

So not only can a top 8 spot easily open up for us, but a top 4 spot is by no means out of the question, and if we can make the top 4 anything can happen!
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                              Here's looking at you, kid.

I'm hearing the Cows have signed English international hooker Scott Moore to replace Payne. Looks like Ant may have to spend another year coming off the bench.
