There is a risk that you undo the spell & we get Braith back.

      I've got it!

We'll get a politis one, and save ourselves from both of them. Two birds with one stone.

There's no way Politis will let us drop Mini. I actually think he will be made captain with the excuse that the others are too young.

Even if TR wants to drop Mini it wont happen. I think Mini will start at FB before switching halfway through the season to wing. Thats not what I want, but what will most likely happen.

If that happens it just shows that winning isn't our number one priority.

Also I keep saying it Mini will be a disaster on the wing as well. His lack of speed and strength will get shown up even more.

All things being equal this should be our starting 13.

            RTS
Moga (yes centre is his position but he is still very raw)
            BJ
            SKD
            Tupou/Oldfield/Henry/Tagive
            Maloney
            Pearce
            Kennedy
            Friend
            JWH
            Guerra
            Cordner
SBW (playing a traditional lock forward role roaming the field, it would be stupid to waste him on one side of the field)

Bench we have plenty to choose from. I would have Taka on the bench every week, great impact player. FPN, Tasi and Maubs could fill the rest. Evans is a gun but he needs a big off season, I'm sure he will get his chance.

My concern for SBW playing lock, is that I don't want to see him making 40+ tackles a game and having it taking away from his attack.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

              Here's looking at you, kid.

No problem Cordner can defend tighter and make those tackles. In attack though it's a waste having SBW tied to one side of the field.

Yeah Fitzy we definitely want to get the balance right with SBW. We certainly don't want him catching a cold when we have the ball, like Inglis did last year at $ouff$. If Trent does have him at centre, I'm sure Maloney unlike Bwaiff, would see to it that he gets quality ball out wide and I'm sure Trent would give him a license to roam a bit, especially from quick play the balls against a retreating defense or from set moves. It would be great to have SBW terrorize both opposition halves on either side of the field at stages of a game.

I don't want to see him packing into any scrums whether it be in defense or especially attack, as I would see that as a waste.

SBW will be playing tight in right side second row, he won't be in the centres or at lock.

lol @ people thinking Politis chooses whether Mini plays or not.

Yeh it's his best position. He's definitely not a lock.

What is a lock these days anyway?

Some teams have an extra prop others just have a work horse who tackles. I'm sure Cordner or someone else could defend tighter for SBW.

For me it doesn't make sense to have your most dangerous player tied to one side of the field. I know structure is important but sometimes there are exceptions. Sticking SBW on an edge whether it's at centre or 2nd row would be a waste.

A lock is the linchpin to your defence, needs to be a good defender and with our props needs to offer go forward. Neither are SBW's strengths. Tied to one side of the field really isn't as bad as you're making it out to be; Mateo has had great success on the left side of the field for the Warriors and I'd argue he's just as creative as SBW and it hasn't been a hindrance for him. Glenn Stewart is another good example.

The only way SBW will ever get a roaming role is if he plays at lock and then you're wasting him by asking him to make 40+ tackles a game.
