We'll get a politis one, and save ourselves from both of them. Two birds with one stone.Comment of the year:

There's no way Politis will let us drop Mini. I actually think he will be made captain with the excuse that the others are too young.
Even if TR wants to drop Mini it wont happen. I think Mini will start at FB before switching halfway through the season to wing. Thats not what I want, but what will most likely happen.

Also I keep saying it Mini will be a disaster on the wing as well. His lack of speed and strength will get shown up even more.
All things being equal this should be our starting 13.
RTS
Moga (yes centre is his position but he is still very raw)
BJ
SKD
Tupou/Oldfield/Henry/Tagive
Maloney
Pearce
Kennedy
Friend
JWH
Guerra
Cordner
SBW (playing a traditional lock forward role roaming the field, it would be stupid to waste him on one side of the field)
Bench we have plenty to choose from. I would have Taka on the bench every week, great impact player. FPN, Tasi and Maubs could fill the rest. Evans is a gun but he needs a big off season, I'm sure he will get his chance.Last edited by fitzy; 09-11-2012, 12:57 PM.

My concern for SBW playing lock, is that I don't want to see him making 40+ tackles a game and having it taking away from his attack. The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!
Here's looking at you, kid.

I don't want to see him packing into any scrums whether it be in defense or especially attack, as I would see that as a waste. The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

Some teams have an extra prop others just have a work horse who tackles. I'm sure Cordner or someone else could defend tighter for SBW.
For me it doesn't make sense to have your most dangerous player tied to one side of the field. I know structure is important but sometimes there are exceptions. Sticking SBW on an edge whether it's at centre or 2nd row would be a waste.

The only way SBW will ever get a roaming role is if he plays at lock and then you're wasting him by asking him to make 40+ tackles a game.
