yeah, no one can complain about the trials counting and tests have always counted as part of a suspension. maybe the timing of rads' decision to pull out of the tests was off but the truth is that the only reason he missed those games was because of what went down at easts. seems fair that he doesn't get penalised twice.
salute to nick on this clarification- the media have been hounding him about 'being a man of his word' but that's just because they can't see the wood for the trees. this change/clarification wouldn't have happened without nick's approval. no need to be pig-headed about it

The suspension was an arbitrary rooster imposed sanction. They are free to choose however they want in counting games that count.The could say a test game is worth 2 club games and he's served 8 with the trials. Clubs choice!

Exactly right. The club could have given him nothing if they wanted. Who cares what the media and other fans say. It's a substantial suspension that is costing him a lot of money. He could have bailed and signed with the Cowboys and not lost a cent. But he's copped it on the chin. He'll come back firing when he's back playing.
