Looks like he’s gone to the Dogs. Thankfully. He’s a grub and a lazy one at that. Melbourne barely played him this year and that speaks volumes. He is a spent force and think he is more at home in a charity boxing match than the NRL nowadays.

His big man mountain strong athletic ability in him I would usually say yes...
But since JWH leaving we have actually kept players on the field & avoided suspension fairly well this season & to bring him over would be deja vu all over again I feel.
Wanna say yes but I don't think it would be a COOL siging long term for the team.

NAS is a wrecking ball on his day however struggles with consistency and is a penalty magnet!
2025 salary was $850k.
Age - 29
Weight - 115kg
Height - 6' 7"
Curious to get Bondi Boys feedback on this one.
Cheers.
Don't think the NRL would allow that though.
Guess we'll have to use Makatoa instead.

Apart from the having the role of Enforcer, I see little resemblance between JWH and NAS.
NAS had a couple of years where he was extremely good at his job. But he is not even in my top 8-10 props in the comp these days, certainly not at a 700-800k level. JWH was an exceptional NRL prop and pack leader for 12 years, and never had too much of a form trough in that time either. For a while, we had a massive loss ratio whenever JWH didnt play..that was how important he was.
NAS also appears to be extremely low IQ.
I'd take him for 300-400k as a bench pig. That's it.Last edited by Steakface; 10-14-2025, 11:06 PM.

When NAS is "on" he is a momentum changer, but he is more cold than hot
JWH is the greatest front rower at the Roosters since Beetson, who was the greatest front rower of all time. He always gave everything in every game.
NAS gets a start off the bench for the Kiwis on Sunday against Samoa. There's some real firepower in the forwards for both teams- could see some real carnage

I think our pack is meek. All premiership winning teams have at least 1 hard man. Spence is only intimidating when he runs the ball. Collins yeah nah.
In recent times,
Panthers 4 peat - JFH.
Roosters recent success - JWH. 2013 Luke O' Donnell, FPN.
Sharks - Gal
Souffs - S burgess
Storm - Blair, NAS
Broncos - Haas, Carrigan
We need an enforcer/ leader of the pack!
Sign NAS or bring back the Big Dog.
