  • Are there any NAS fans out there ???

Nelson Asofa-Solomona has been granted an early release by the Storm and is weighing up his options. It's been reported that R360 have expressed interest however nothing locked in just yet.

NAS is a wrecking ball on his day however struggles with consistency and is a penalty magnet!

    2025 salary was $850k.

    Age - 29
    Weight - 115kg
    Height - 6' 7"

Curious to get Bondi Boys feedback on this one.

    Cheers.

I think the grand final might have been a different story if he had played. He's the only player in ther Storm pack who can intimidate the opposition.

That being said, I don't see a fit for us. We've got massive issues with penalties and discipline already, so although I rate him, I just don't see that being a great idea.

The Bulldogs won't be winning a comp with their current pack. I wonder if they'll show any interest.

      Decent player on his day.
Not worth $850k, not a Roosters style player

He could do a job for us But in our jersey I think he would be heavily targeted by the referees

No thanks, I’d hate to see him in a roosters jersey. He’s just a thug and I really don’t like him.

Son in law played with him at the storm and said he has a very poor attitude and is a shocking trainer .

He is the closest to JWH in the competition. In saying that, i think the difference is JWH seems to have embraced leadership on and off the field in his latter years, not something you hear about NAS as much. So for me, it would actually depend on his off-field qualities as much as on field.

Also obviously not at $850, but i do think we are 1 NRL proven prop short (not necessarily a superstar, but a solid firstgrader)

If that was actually the case ( I say if as it is someone’s an insiders opinion doesn’t mean it’s s as view held by those that count within ) It’s a wonder Bellamy put up with him for as long as he did His on field discipline this season would have played a part though He let them down at seasons end

However if Coach Robinson was willing to take him on I’d support the club and the decision

Because he's a good player .All clubs put up with disagreeable players until they don't , much like forums I'd reckon .

Speed of the game has made his size less effective
also seems to go missing when another Alfa prop targets him
unless storm were covering half his salary I don’t think he is close to an $850k prop now and misses more games with injury and suspension every year
will be tigers, titans, dragons or super league

Which is why we should support Coach Robinson and the club if we were to sign him

PS I feel you are drawing a long bow bring the forums analogy into it But you do you

That's ok and you can have your opinion but for me I'll take the lead of bellyache over Robbo if our last few signings that we have had to move on are any guide .Storm take crap players and make good , we take crap players and keep them.Ps Coach Robinson , that's something Salvo would say . Interesting

Fair enough Our last Storm signing went down real well.

Yes Coach Robinson is a Sally saying but I quite enjoyed it and I think when appropriate I will keep his memory alive by using it

I would love to have him.
He’s a thug & a grub plus he’s a tough dirty player just like JWH.
Imagine Whyte, NAS, Leniu & Collins.
