I reckon you are the alt of someone else on here as well but don't call for your banning .I created dearintheheadlights to make a point . Mods aren't that silly to think that even someone as vague as you couldn't do, they know who's .Now I'll probably be banned for admitting the obviously but when the likes of Gmarn are setting the example were all screwed .PS as your other half would say could we all please stop detailing threads as stick to the subject .
As for Michael Jones. He's making a mockery of the the rules and showing very little respect for the admin staff. Failing to stop this type of reincarnation is fraught with danger! Eg. Someone could call me a w*g po*fter c*nt. be banned and then come back under a different alias and do it again. Not cool and the fact that there's no rule in place is also not cool.Last edited by Bates; 10-12-2025, 01:48 PM.

It's been reported by Fox and in other publications that the likely starting 17 is listed with all pointing to DCE playing 5/8.
It does make sense, as I said, as Sam Walker needs more development and the club sees him as a half, so playing 5/8 would be counterproductive for his development going forward. He won't learn the skills of game management as a half, for instance, if he plays as a running 5/8 with DCE taking on that role instead.
You would see future NRL fullbacks, for instance, as newbies in the NRL playing on the wing and gaining experience of playing NRL before later switching to fullback - Anthony Minichiello / Billy Slater/RTS, for instance, who all started their NRL careers on the Wing.
Sam Walker has now played 86 games, so not a newbie where a secondary role is required to ease him into playing NRL week in week out.

In recent times when a member (dearinheadlights) [sic] joined the Pen, he was banned on suspician as it was most likely Rooster 1908 who was at the time suspended for 1 month.
Here's what I'm proposing.
If 3 of the 4 Admin staff think that in this case Michael Jones is most likely King Salvo then they should be banned!
There needs to be a rule in place for when this occurs. This is the fairest and most practical solution.
Look forward to your considered response.
i think the chookpen forum rules and regulations are pretty clear -
Creation of or use of, a new account to get round any ban:
When a poster receives a ban all accounts associated with that poster will be suspended for a time equivalent to the posters original ban.
Any poster allowing their account to be used by a banned/suspended member puts their own account at risk.
Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
so, the mods 'reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate ...' they can allow a permanently banned poster to return. that's been the usual rule.
to be fair you're in clear breech of the rules of agenda pushing
Agenda pushers will not be made welcome. If the staff feels that your posts are inappropriately pushy, or repetitive they will be locked, edited or removed and you will be asked to refrain from further posting on the subject.
and criticism of the mods.
The actions and decisions of the mod/admin team are not open for debate or criticism on the main board. Any post that questions or criticizes such decisions will be locked or deleted. If you wish to question such a decision use the PM system.
why not block him and step away from the mic?
changing tack - thanks for the sane contributions to this thread. that restores the faith

Knowing someone that played for Parramatta Eels back in the day with Asics as a sponsor they could have as many pairs of boots and joggers as they wanted - I helped them out by taking a few pairs of joggers off their hands for the Wife and Kids - reluctantly of course.
