Lewis as a centre? You've got to be kidding?? He lost his speed about 5 years ago. We currently have the slowest backs in the competition...adding Lewis into the centres wouldnt do us any good. Not to mention we already have 3 decent centres (SKD, Moga, BJ).

I love Lewis as a player, but the only positions he will play are lock or second row. Sure he can fill in if we have an injury but he is past his wing/centre days a long time ago!

Would be a dumb purchase at the price, and one that would illustrate just how little proper planning goes into our roster management. When will they learn the perils of buying at the top of the market? This will be the highest price contract he signs, and he's a 28 year old who's been in the trenches for years. He's a great competitor, but no way is he now worth $400K +
