If we were to sign a prop with experience for 2027, it might be worth looking at one of the Sharks big lads - Rudolf, Uele and Colquhuon are all off contract then and could be acquired for a decent price.
Otherwise, Junior Paulo or Daniel Suluka-Fifita are available and would be good acquisitions for the right price.
Haas would be available, but it's a no thanks for me - tying up $1.2 million of cap on one prop is just insanity, regardless of how good he is. One ACL and you're fkd.
Saluka-Fafita? Surely we have a girl in our NRLW squad who’d be better than him.

Just throwing some names out there. There are slim pickings for props that are big aggressive runners + with experience + who are cheap over the next 2 years.

If Baker is on a potential shopping list, then the names I mentioned should be as well because they are all better than Baker.

Personally, I think Nat Butcher needs to fatten up & become a permanent middle instead. He doesn't offer enough in attack on the edges compared to our other options, but he has all the fundamentals of a great prop if he can just pile on some more kg's.

Not without issues though. Matto and Madge had a bust up about training methods didn’t they? Ended up with Matto leaving the club after a year
