He lost me when he said verbatim - "I'm happy with my decision, i left at decent team (Roosters) for an even better one (Broncos)"

Baker reminds me of Shane Shackleton, but without the cult following.

I can't see him being anything but a fringe first grader. Just one of those guys who is ok, but doesn't quite have enough to be a really really good 1st grader.

Decent defensively, but in attack he is too lumbering and has little impact for his size.

He is on 300k at the Broncs, but I reckon that's 100k too high.

He'll go to England to earn some $.

Has an former Roosters player ever locked down a position in a team that Michael Maguire has coached?

I thought he would have had the jump on the others but all very promising.
That's fair, I think I just generally don't consider Losalu to have as high of a ceiling as the youngsters I mentioned so I may be overlooking him.

In his own right this will be the first year getting a full pre-season in. Will be interesting to see how he goes.

Obviously not a big name for that spot - i remember when he left being disappointed as he was showing positive signs. Obviously didnt work out at the Broncos, and would be at a reduced salary - is he worth looking at for that role?
            Ahh come on man
            He's a farken dud.
Mate the Roosters have got better than him in our NSW Cup team.

Nah f*ck him. Reckons he left us for a better club in the Broncos.

Something along the lines of being at a better club.

We need a big, tough as nails, NRL-hardened, muscular, heavy, express train style prop...now!
To start first game next season with.
Our team now is too small. Our defenders bounce off the big players in other teams, get run over like in the Sharks final.

Those types of players don’t grow on trees BB. Could you name 5 current NRL props that fit that description?

                            No.
                            But have we looked everywhere.

Anyone worth getting who is experienced is contracturally locked up for 2026 or extremely expensive.

If we were to sign a prop with experience for 2027, it might be worth looking at one of the Sharks big lads - Rudolf, Uele and Colquhuon are all off contract then and could be acquired for a decent price.
Otherwise, Junior Paulo or Daniel Suluka-Fifita are available and would be good acquisitions for the right price.
Haas would be available, but it's a no thanks for me - tying up $1.2 million of cap on one prop is just insanity, regardless of how good he is. One ACL and you're fkd.
