Baker reminds me of Shane Shackleton, but without the cult following.
I can't see him being anything but a fringe first grader. Just one of those guys who is ok, but doesn't quite have enough to be a really really good 1st grader.
Decent defensively, but in attack he is too lumbering and has little impact for his size.
He is on 300k at the Broncs, but I reckon that's 100k too high.
He'll go to England to earn some $.

I thought he would have had the jump on the others but all very promising.
In his own right this will be the first year getting a full pre-season in. Will be interesting to see how he goes.

Obviously didnt work out at the Broncos, and would be at a reduced salary - is he worth looking at for that role?
He's a farken dud.
Mate the Roosters have got better than him in our NSW Cup team.

We need a big, tough as nails, NRL-hardened, muscular, heavy, express train style prop...now!
To start first game next season with.
Our team now is too small. Our defenders bounce off the big players in other teams, get run over like in the Sharks final.

If we were to sign a prop with experience for 2027, it might be worth looking at one of the Sharks big lads - Rudolf, Uele and Colquhuon are all off contract then and could be acquired for a decent price.
Otherwise, Junior Paulo or Daniel Suluka-Fifita are available and would be good acquisitions for the right price.
Haas would be available, but it's a no thanks for me - tying up $1.2 million of cap on one prop is just insanity, regardless of how good he is. One ACL and you're fkd.
