Walker to take on the Sharks pack and get flattened and injured?
We'd be better off with 4 new, big, strong, fast, forwards who could make line breaks and crash over for tries.
Storm are reportedly letting Nelson go.

Although we did better then many people predicted at the start of year and even mid season it’s certainly left a dissapointing and hollow way to finish the year
Unfortunately not surprising though which I am lost to work out why we are allways bad with penalaties and errors
there was a comp to be won this year and we could beat any team
we just lost the game ourselves tonight and will wonder to next year what could have been

With a decent dummy half and a halfback willing to do something, we would have won that game.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

It’s a shame we served up a shit sandwich when it mattered most. Probably a successful season all things considered and I’m looking forward to being better next year.
Our defence tonight was fantastic given the amount of ball and field position we gave the Sharks. Again poor handling and stupid stuff hurt us badly. Our attack is crowded and stifled when playing strong defensive teams because Watson’s service from dummy half is very, very average; it takes too much time away from the first receiver and hence we are forced to push passes and we often come up with dropped balls or ineffective plays. Hopefully Robson will fix that. Maybe then we can have more attacking plays rather than just giving the ball to Marky Mark.
There were a few average games out there tonight; Toups, Walker, Watson, Smith & Toia had up and down games. Yes Gus gave away a stupid penalty, so did Whyte with a very late flop in the 1st half, but they played pretty well otherwise. The Sharks deserved the win but I’m not sure they can win next week.
Onto next year.

There not a bad side Cronulla they have a top coach & I hope they win it.
I'd like to know the stats on early tackle errors which are 10x worse than attacking errors.
P.S. Hope you are doing well Mickey.

Having said that I’d rather they win than the dogs, broncos, faders, Storm or riff. In that order.

Credit where it's due, the Sharks defence was great.
But Jesus, Walker was diabolical. Every pass jarred the flow. Just awkward in attack.
And what were all those first half inside balls about? Completely went against the shape of the line. Was that Robbo introducing new tricks in the finals?
Whatever, we did well to get there with all the kids.

We looked good at the start of the 2nd half and then AFB comes back on for the Sharks. His team lifts and the momentum is swung back in their favour. From there, we looked rattled! Error after error and that sinking feeling in my stomach was back. The writing was on the wall.
