Positives plenty of young guys have come of age and this is important moving forward. We probably don’t get through week 2 anyway but it was a good ride nonetheless the season is a pass mark that’s it.

We really let ourselves down close to their line, we were very side to side when it was their middle that was missing tackles. Connor Watson was REALLY disappointing, I was expecting him to straighten the attack when he came on but he didn't. If we attacked their middle with numbers they would have cracked in that second half and the flood gates would have opened ala Melbourne a few weeks ago.
I like the Sharks but they are deadset fodder - in Brisbane or Canberra they will lose by 13+ next week, it won't be close - their deep kicking in particular when under pressure is about the worst I've seen - Nicho and Trindall were struggling to kick it more than 35 metres at times - how many sets did we start on or near halfway? Half a dozen or so......very rare in the modern game.
This is such a disappointing loss, for me there was quite a class gap but we threw it away like we have many games this season - oh well.

He might be looking for a club.
I'd sign him for $300,000 if the Va'a boys aren't ready...but the NRL wouldn't allow that...wouldn't allow Turbo to sign for a lot less to stay with Manly.
We were bashed, smashed, and trashed by the big, aggro Sharks team.
Mrs bb rubbished my idea of signing Nelson, as I watched our team get run all over.
If not Nelson, then who big will we be buying?
We won't be winning the comp with the team that took the field last night.

We need big, strong, tough, rough, hard hitting, hard running, wrecking balls.
We don't have any now.
Our team is very nice, very polite, very gentlemanly.
We lost.

5 line breaks by the Roosters , 3 to the Sharks - hardly any room to move in the whole game.
AFB made great metres and Rudolf was immense. Roosters we’re pinning the Sharks in their territory and at 12 -10 down , I thought the Roosters were in with a real chance.
I thought if Teddy hadn’t dropped the ball, we would have most likely won - he had nothing but daylight in front of him, on halfway.
Anyway , the last 25 minutes, the Sharks upped the ante in defence. 4 and 5 players in gang tackles , driving the Roosters backwards.
The Roosters got frustrated in the yardage plays, they dropped the ball , and the game was over.
I don’t agree with others that the Sharks will be easy beats for the rest of the finals series. I think they will make the prelim at least - they could even go further.
Tough defence wins comps , and the Sharks have got it.

Turning Pont in my mind was the Sharks try before half time - Ramien wasn't square at marker and knocked the ball out of Sam Walkers hands - a knock on - should have been a penalty for not being square at marker - Roosters should have let the Sharks player score and it would have been a no try - once the tackle is made the bunker doesn't go back to look at previous tackles except to put players on report.
Would have gone into the sheds at worst 6 - 4 down instead of 12-4 down - The converted try early second half would have put them up 10-6 and who knows what could have happened from then on.
You want to be leading the game not chasing points which seemingly was what the Roosters mind set was at times with some of their errors - needed to get into the grind as they say.
All in all it was a good season with certainly things to work on as Head Coach Trent Robinson said in the press conference.
They need to tidy up getting to the kick in their sets (set completions - 16th) and reducing errors including handling errors - Roosters were number 1 in errors (327) and handling errors (293) - You just put too much pressure on your defence having to do extra's.

Be a tough task to get the Raiders up after that game one would say as they thought they had won the game not once , not twice but three times so the Sharks would have a good chance - The Roosters would have also but sadly not playing.
The winner of Raiders and Sharks play the Storm in week 3- Winner of Bulldogs and Penrith play the Broncos in week 3
My Tip - Raiders and Penrith to win those games next week in week 2 of the Finals
GF Tip - Storm vs Penrith

54 points scored in a semi final.
Faiders faided badly in the second half.
The Sharks will be watching, and laughing on who they are going to beat next week.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.
