A limp way to end the year. Errors and poor discipline again costs us. Looked really good as well at the start of the second half, but fizzled out. There are a lot of positives to take out of this season though. Our younger players look fantastic and start next year with a great base. Add a proper hooker in Robson (guessing we probably sign another player who isn’t DCE), as well as having our proper halves from the get go and next year is looking exciting.

Not just random errors. But the worst kind. Always the most game changing kind.
First or second tackle errors in poor position... every 2nd or 3rd damn set in that second half. Half of them comical.
The blueprint to beat the Roosters is so obvious. Hold the ball and wait for them to self implode.
Don't have as much talent as the Roosters? Don't worry. Tackle and they'll drop it. Again and again.
DCE can't come soon enough to try and provide this team of talented clowns with some on field composure. Just like Cronk did.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

With a decent dummy half and a halfback willing to do something, we would have won that game.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.

For me, that was bloody disappointing because the Sharks are crap.
Errors. Errors. Errors.
My mate Robbo needs to realise that you have to start the year with baseball bats in your hands from round 1. - And stop losing to crap teams.
All the best to everyone on here that posts.
Go the mighty R W & B in 2026.

We'd be better off with 4 new, big, strong, fast, forwards who could make line breaks and crash over for tries.
Storm are reportedly letting Nelson go.

It was a successful season to get to the finals having lost so many top players and with such a bad start. But the roosters style is a very high risk strategy which almost always comes undone in finals footy because it is a higher quality game which demands percentage footy, good completions and minimum errors and penalties yet we were dropping passes and throwing bad ones near our own line and that’s why we had no chance. And Smith stripping the ball just handed over more points. Until we fix our completion rates, ball discipline and errors we are going nowhere no matter how good our roster. The only real concern I have is Robbo just doesn’t seem to learn. Discipline is so poor it needs fixing but I’m not holding my breath.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

The wet conditions didn’t help our smaller and quicker side
errors again ffs every week
Sammy seemed off, I noticed last week he looked tentative to take on the line and even step - not sure if he knee is playing up
Sammy missed a few key kicks to the wingers going to deep
also Watson going to Collins on the 5th in the first half instead of Walker was a bad one
