Could see him signing with a team as a bench utility maybe, he was playing the role here for a little while and can cover fullback, halves and I think hooker as well from memory of his utility days here.

Aside from that I think he could find a 5/8 spot in the Super League.

I think he will end up at the Knights - according to Barry Toohey the local reporter they have offered him a decent sized deal to play starting #9 next year

When the Sharpe/Brown combo fails after round 4 he will probably get moved to #7 anyway

But do we still keep Sandon if the DCE deal suddenly falls through??

For example, if DCE does his ACL in the last game of the season, are all bets off then?

Toby Rodwell will turn 20 next year and should be ready to step up if either Hugo or Sammy go down injured. Touch wood

He should play for free under Bellamy for a couple of years.

He's the kind of kid the Storm would turn into a superstar.

Christ imagine Hugo at the Storm?

Lest we forget his ANZAC day heroics. Good kid, heaps of potential. Good luck to the fella.

Jake Elliot is also contracted until the end of 2026, so we are well served for options next year even when Sandon leaves.

Elliot is the forgotten man in this halves merry go round - for the last few weeks has been playing with lock, hooker or a combination of both off the bench which is usually what Robbo likes to do before they make their NRL debut.

He is a very classy natural 5/8 in the Ethan Strange mould however...

he's contracted for next year. you'd figure if dce doesn't come we'd be happy for him to stay even though he's not in our best 17. whether or not he'd want that and whether we'd be happy to let him go i don't know

DCE won't be playing for us at all...according to an article that bobbed up on mrs bb's phone today.
Will be coaching, if anything at all read.
