Following the Sydney Roosters’ Round 23 match against the Dolphins, two Roosters players have been cited by the Match Review Committee. Naufahu Whyte has been charged with a Grade 1 Contrary Conduct offence for an incident in the 9th minute of the match. Should Whyte enter an early guilty plea, he will receive a $1,000 fine. If he challenges the charge and is found guilty at the panel, he will receive a $1,500 fine.

Spencer Leniu has been charged with two Grade 1 Contrary Conduct offences for incidents in the 8th and 9th minutes of the match. For Charge 1, an early guilty plea will result in an $1,800 fine, while an unsuccessful challenge will result in a $2,500 fine. For Charge 2, an early guilty plea will also result in an $1,800 fine, while an unsuccessful challenge will result in a $2,500 fine.

there wasn't much in this molo hit but the other ones featured our players getting mcls. it's not like the bunker could have missed them. when you add sammy being binned for hitting low when he shouldn't have been penalised (because he wasn't third man in) there needs to be an investigation!

There’s nothing wrong with having a couple of your forwards playing on the fine line between what’s legal and what is not.
The opposition tends to respect the “ tough nuts” and leave them alone.
Case in point - Liam Martin.
I think the Dolphins came out against the Roosters thinking they could bash the team into submission.
A few other teams have taken us on in the forwards, and it’s worked.
It looks like the younger players in the team are now realising what it takes to succeed in the NRL - the resistance and aggression in the team has been evident over the last couple of games
Other than Spence, we have lacked a real tough nut since JWH left.
Angus shows some aggression when he gets going.
The other 2 likely candidates, I think are Whyte and Foketi.
Foketi’s driving tackles makes him a top candidate.
