It never ceases to amaze me how we are happy to eat our young. Pearce has been our best this year (and last year truth be told). He is close to the top of the Dally M last time I looked and is the current Origin half and our only Australian rep player. Busts his arse for 80 minutes every game.
Also 23 so about to come into a halfback's best years.
But hey, let's get rid of him - I'm sure Mortimer or Killer are a better long term option.
Mind boggling.

Contract expires next year. From 2015 he will be eligible for the long serving player allowance. As he will be the only one most of his contract money will not be included in our cap so he could earn more with us than other clubs.
I call shenanigans.
