Name one another NRL Player that has gone through their careers without having a bad game???? Seriously, it owuld not surprise me if he comes out on Monday Night and has an absolute blinder of a game. After the game 1 lost he came ou and played good against the Bullscums so you never know maybe he just got too overconfident cause I saw him last night do more than what Carney and Hayne could provide. Pearce and Farah knew that they could exploit Dane Neilson on the right hand side of attack and they kept heading that way for a reason.

As for this latest rumour, I doubt that the Dragons could even make an approach for 2014 let al,one any club as they are finalising their books and numbers for 2013's audit as the June 30 deadline just expired. Furthermore, alot of clubs now have to complete their own internal player signings to really get an idea of how much money will remain in 2013.....

I can see Pearce entering the 300 club as a player loyal to one club only as I am sure once James Maloney arrives, he will be exceptional.

Did you all ever think the reason players are unhappy at the club cause they are sick of the dragging on of the SBW signing??? From what I hear they are frustrated as nothing has been announced yet so that they all know where they could possibly stand in the future, and who could get a release by the end of the year just to accomondate SBW.

I think the issue is its not just one bad game its the hundreds of average games he's played thus far in his career. He very rarely dominates a game like all the good halfbacks have and do anD his kicking game has been shocking all year. I think he needs to get out of the social pages and concentrate on his footy. He hasn't been helped by the coach who insists on this adlib style i mean the main part of A halfs responsibility is controlling the structure and direction of the team and when they're being taught to just do what they want it doesn't help his game... I really do think with a fairdinkum coach he would improve dramatically. As to your point regarding the players being unhappy because of the SBW thing..I highly doubt you have heard any inside info at all....

The question I am now asking myself, in regards to Pearce, is whether the damage from previous & current coaching might have done long term damage to any potential he has?
I also now have doubts as to whether our new 6 for next year will make that much difference.
Is he really cut out to be a 7?
Is he a 9?

Dont forget that pearce debued at 16-17 yrs of age so his bad games which is normal for a baby number7 could never be hidin in under20"s or reserve grade,,in other words he was exposed to early and never got the chance to develop properly,,,he is now only 23 which is the age that most number7's debut let alone dominate anything so i reakon lay off the poor guy and let him develope like every1 else
