Egan Butcher was great tonight off the bench good meters good defence got himself a meat pie, he cops heaps on here I think he has a lot to offer in the middle, simple game plan tuck it under the arm and run hard as he always does and makes his tackles , I reckon prop is his position persist for sure, Spencer and Lindsay don’t make meters I think we all know that.

Was gonna say the same. Not pretty viewing but to only let one try in despite Manly looking on top the whole first half (and having a crack with ~25 to go) was a job well done.

Walker... enough said. If it were anybody else I woulda cringed as some of his choices. However every time I cringed, a try was scored.

Honestly the more I look at it, Teddy made zero contact and Manly were blowing up about having to do the HIA because they knew there had been no contact & it was gonna screw them up.

Glad that commonsense prevailed for once and IMO that's how it should ALWAYS be! Oh you're gonna lie down? Okay well the MRC can review that one and see but for now player welfare is paramount so go and do an HIA since you claim you copped a hard hit to the head that's had you grounded for 10 mins.

Visability was bad at times during the game but from what I saw Whyte and Angus played very well tonight.

Great defence especially on our line. Much better than last week. Probably a lot to do with Rads, Billy and Hugo back in the side.

FM Ebutch cops a lot. People see one error in atrocious conditions and that's his game. FFS
He was our second best metre eater behind Whyte.

Probably Gus’s best game this season.
