and also seemingly played his entire stint at lock. everyone harping on his lack of run meters, but not sure that’s the job Trent has given to him the past two games @ 13. still yet to understand this move, is it an attempt to shore up the middle defence with another big body?

He's always struggled to cope with loses to the Roosters for someone reason, some of his tears at the Bunnies were even sweeter.Originally posted by player 1 View PostSeibold in his presser kept emphasising our 3 tries were from kicks. Fair enough, he's cut they lost and wants to diminish the merit of our win, but it's pretty poor sportsmanship to describe the Angus try as a try from a kick, as if it was a lucky lottery win. Sure it involved a kick at the end, but it was on the end of a 50 metre line break, required quick thinking and vision by Walker, and superb athleticism by Toups.
So yeah, Seibold is still a dick.
Tries off kicks in wet weather is a great tactic.. Seibold should try it next time.
There was never going to be many line breaks on that field last night, was the definition of a heavy 10. It's not something to celebrate..

He had the excuse book out at the presser knowing perfectly well that his neck is on the chopping block.Originally posted by player 1 View PostSeibold in his presser kept emphasising our 3 tries were from kicks. DCE looked uncomfortable whilst Seibold failed to take responsibility for his teams poor performance.

In last year's game where we dominated them and they were lucky to get close due to Keary's gifted intercept tries he repeatedly said in the presser how proud he was that the team fought back and had a chance to win the game at the end. Nothing about being kissed on the pecker with gifted tries. The guy is clutching at straws to save his job.Originally posted by player 1 View PostSeibold in his presser kept emphasising our 3 tries were from kicks. I just listened to the first half of the Tigers v Bulldogs game on ABC radio and Luke Lewis was blasting the Bulldogs for putting the ball through the hands and then dropping the ball instead of putting in a kick because "you have to play to the conditions and the kick is the best option in the wet" maybe Seibold had this level of understanding he wouldn't be struggling so much in his career.Originally posted by Vasco View Post
He's a sore loser, especially when it's against the Roosters.

Was a great win given the conditions. Teams separated only by some moments of class by Sammy. A special player that wins you games when things aren’t happening.
Manly were quite poor. Dont think a side has turned over that much ball against us this year. Tough conditions but we played to them better.

We have over and over again mate game after game - our ball handling is our Achilles heel - that and our goal line defence through the middle for the most part this year.Originally posted by HunchoRooster View PostWas a great win given the conditions.
