  • sam should be given a get out of jail free card. he should be allowed one cannonball tackle without fear of a penalty or being suspended

    • The sin bin was ridiculous , we got ripped off by the game managers again.
      Not one single 6 again.

      • Beaten in the penalty count no six agains a sin bin but still victorious when both bunker and the ref did nothing about the 2 St Merge illegal plays other than a penalty received whilst post game both have been cited by the match review and no sighting for Sam’s soft sin binning. He was never going to be sighted.

It's a farce. We've won 2 penalty counts all season.

How would other teams go receiving so few penalties week after week? You've got to admire the resilience of the club, for nearly 20 years. And our penalties seem to be on the first or second tackle whereas other teams get their penalties or set restarts late in the count.

It's becoming all too predictable. My seething anger is going up a notch week after week after week.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Not just penalties, but hardy any set restarts every week. Surely someone in officialdom or at the club will start to finally connect some dots. This has been going on for far too fricken long.

              • The Roosters lost the penalty count and 6 agains, but there were still plenty of howls from the Merge fans because the Roosters were slowing the play the balls.

I am of the belief that you are entitled to slow the ruck down if you make a dominant tackle or effective gang tackle, like the Roosters did during the game.

Thankfully Atkins sees it that way too , and it made Saturday’s game a fair contest.

Yeah apart from the penalty count and set restarts, which go a long way to determining the outcome of a game.
