  • Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Saints

This is one of those games where anything less than a dominant win simply won’t cut it. We’ve already let too many points slip against bottom-feeders this season and those losses could haunt us come finals time.

Today’s opposition is another rubbish side. A club with more excuses than wins. After last week’s poor showing, the boys owe us a response. If they’re serious about a late-season charge, this has to be a statement game.

No mercy. No excuses. Getting rolled in the middle last week was unacceptable. We need to come out firing and show our intention from the very first tackle.

    Kick-off 5:30pm.

    Go Roosters!

Losing last week was inexcusable irrespective of the players missing, but losing tonight would be totally embarrassing considering what’s at stake and the team we have on paper.

Dragons won’t be easy when you consider it’s Jayden Sua’s 150th game and the 2010 winning grand final team will be there to watch the game..But surely we will have too much strike!

We can jump to 7th Spot at worst and if Penrith lose we can jump to 6th with a win,no excuses..

Not just a win but a good win today is needed. Erase last week and look forward. Our season and our finals run starts today.

Would be great to see this but they look at Egan as coverage for centre incase someone goes down.

Let’s hope their players honour the 2010 side like we honoured the 1975 side last week. Badly.

I'm sure Tony Archer will lead them out in the lap around the field.

Every game from now on should be approached as an elimination final.

Really excited to see Sam back.

Hoping Robinson has pulled Collins aside and told him he expects him to start playing for us the way he does for the QLDers.

                          Go the mighty R W and B.

All eyes will be on our halves.

If we win comfortably and our halves perform shares in DCE will plummet.
If we lose especially if we fail to shut the game down and blow a comfortable lead, shares in DCE will skyrocket.

From what I've observed I think they've climbed significantly since the Tigers game.

As Gould would say "it's a funny game"
